So I was reading this article recently and I had some thoughts.

When taking male enhancement hormones (anabolic-androgenic steroids), you often get muscle growth and sculpting. But a side effect, however, is that when someone who is AMAB takes these, their body produces extra Estrogen as a result.

If you suddenly start and stop taking these hormones, however, a wide range of symptoms can erupt as a result. This includes gynecomastia, body dysmorphia, libido problems, fluid retention, trouble sleeping, mood swings, nausea, muscle pain, and hair loss.

I was thinking about how easily I can apply this to Agent Ukulele, who probably had some alongside the advice of other AMAB agents, and ended up probably going through the side effects while also in the care of the Foundation.

I don't have much thought apart from heterochromia aside, he looks very.... Plain.

In my head Francis is just that, normal. He wears plain tshirts, maybe a graphic shirt of a band he likes if he has it available and ran out of clothes that are the acceptable level of cleanliness. His jeans are probably used 2 or 3 times before being chucked in a washing machine but nobody's gonna ever know because well. His pants look the exact same. He at best has maybe 2 pairs of shoes. All his socks are crew or knee high and match. None of his clothes have tags, they get ripped off.

He tends to have brown hair in my head (at least during the beginning of everything) and shifts slowly towards bleaching his hair near the end.

In ADSoG, his hair becomes incredibly fucking long, is cut short, and grows out again. I think it's very curly? And he has blue scrubs and red converse shoes (no laces. Foundation took his fucking lace privilege) and of course he has the cardigan.

I like the depictions of him with his chops, considering that offhanded comment clef makes about his hair in (incident 239 supplemental report?) Just. "Oh God those chops"

I think if Francis made an attempt to look decent apart from "just crawled out of bed and looks high but isn't, yet still smells like burnt rubber" it wouldn't end well because his sense of fashion just... Sucks

In Memory he just... Flat out looks like the fanart I got from Amones.

I enjoy him looking upbeat and youthful, only becoming slightly more exhausted and adult-ish as he grows older, having looked incredibly worn down by the time he's 40.

My favorite design of him is flat out ADSoG, as well as the sweetly creative twist that ScpWiki-official has on their little guy <3
