What if steve and billy are finally ~meeting up~ and going to the quarry but Steve gets intercepted and flayed instead of billy and at first billy is just upset bc Steve stood him up and it was all too good to be true so he blames Steves weird behavior on that but then, he realizes that it is WRONG like super wrong but doesn’t know how to explain to the rest of people that 1) he cares about Harrington 2) he believes in the monsters in Hawkins, not because he knows, but because he’s Smart™ and knows something is amiss 3) he has no clue how to explain that he knows Steve, he knows how he acts and when he’s upset and all of this but no one else believes him and he cannot truly explain bc that would out himself so its ~tension~

and it slowly comes to a critical point where he doesn’t know what he’s doing, he doesn’t know who (what) he’s dealing with, and how can he even tell all this shit to little fuckers if it seems like not-Steve figured out about him knowing. and also yeah, a lot of reasons above that. uff it can be so dramatic and tense. he wants to save Steve, but at the same time wants to survive himself. he wants to tell everything, but he’s afraid of the consequences. he feels something (a lot) for Steve, but is it enough to come out? moreover …what if it’s already too late? and he probably hates himself for being such a coward.

- And they can't afford to lose their phones because it will totally destroy Ice's shiny career.
- They go to some "secret missions" at the same time every year. And Rooster will receive souvenirs from them respectively. But strangely enough the souvenirs are from the same place.

i would like to see a season 8 episode where jake freaks out in the field like terry used to in season 1 when he had just had his babies bc jake is a dad now and now he’s the one who’s scared of getting hurt bc he can’t be as reckless as he used to be bc he needs there for mac so terry helps him through it just like jake did

They go dancing in the Roadhouse every other night and when they get bored they nip down to Purgatory to fuck up some leviathans.
They take long drives through glorious scenery. Cas hangs with the best angels from his old garrison – Jack pulled them out of the empty, to – and Dean bakes pie for all his friends. Miracle runs after squirrels.
They live in a cabin by a lake deep in the woods where they fish and laugh and curl up by the fire on cold nights in winter and run around naked in the summer. They are free and content. They are happy. They are together.

(1) your take on T7S related stuff are always so enjoyable, so I bring you an idea that's been in my mind since I rewatched 7.23. when Jackie and Donna are having a "circle" and discussing the possibility of Hyde rejecting Jackie, Donna says that, if he does, they should get a van and "the Sandy Sandals tour America". I know it's more of a joke than anything, but what if (post Sam-showing up) Jackie and Donna (not OOC-ish, as she is in s8) decided to go on a "Fuck Men" roadtrip
(2) to figure out what to with their lifes? Donna being upset for putting her life on hold for Eric, and Jackie dealing with The Hyde Situation, I think some bonding time away from Point Place might be good for them. do you think that sort of thing seems in character for them? would their friendship grow or would it suffer under the stress of being on the road? and how do you think the experience would ultimately affect their growth as characters, if it affects it at all?

I think Donna would be totally up for it if Jackie suggested it. Jackie might need a little more convincing, but it wouldn’t take much. Their friendship would mostly grow. They lived in the same room together for years (Point Place Time™), so they’ve already experienced each other at their crankiest.
They’d likely have their usual disagreements (e.g., where to go, what would be interesting to do or see) and tension during a road trip but, ultimately, learn more about each other, share more deeply, and maybe have a clearer picture of what the other wants out of life afterward.
This scenario has great fic potential -- as long as Donna and Jackie’s road trip doesn’t have the same ending as Thelma & Louise. 😅
