Heavy armored, two-handed tank. His comfort with an axe comes from growing up on a lumber mill in Daenia subregion’s forests between Daggerfall and Camlorn in High Rock. One day, he came back from collecting wood to find that his village had been burned and destroyed by bandits. He trained to fight and shoved his grief down. Now that he’s grown and dealt with it a bit better, and he’s gone sober, he has reached a better state of acceptance. He still doesn’t stand for bandit activity (he sees it as senseless violence for selfish personal gain/greed), and fights crime where he can.
He traveled to Skyrim and he tries to help as many people as he can. He has major dad energy. He is always there to listen and support. He is also a good leader and does his best to ensure the safety of everyone he travels with, even at the cost of himself if necessary. He vibes with Kynareth and Stendarr, but he is not overly religious. Though his muscles are certainly not for show, he prefers to handle things through communication when possible. He does his best to stay calm, collected, and in control. He doesn’t want to add to or create additional trouble. He can play his flute and loves to be surrounded by nature. He also loves cooking, baking, and woodcarving.
I do have other OCs in the Skyrim setting, but I think Raoul would be the only one who is actually the Dragonborn. He feels great stress at this new responsibility, because he fears he will be unable to help everyone. He also doesn’t feel like a legendary hero, he just feels like a man who wants to help people. He is down-to-earth and doesn’t need or want celebrity status. Very often, he will refuse rewards when he helps those in need. He only accepts if they insist (and can afford to reward him without making life harder for themselves) or put it in his bag when he isn’t looking.
