It has layers, it has meaning, it speaks volumes! They need each other! Say what you want about curse of the 13th ghost, but the writers knew what they were doing here

Why do fans get so upset with Fred for not immediately liking Daphne back in SDMI? Fred isn’t obligated to return Daphne’s feelings and he has every right to only see her as a friend - I know he really does like her back but that’s beside the point. He doesn’t even lead her on, he straight up calls her a friend over and over again. He also simply doesn’t know she likes him, so cut him some slack
