We all have someone pulling our strings, detective.
Who's pulling yours?
We all have someone pulling our strings, detective.
Who's pulling yours?
See these eyes so red,
Red like jungles, burning bright
This pic was inspired by a generated image from Dall-e mini, based on a description of my deer character Harton. I then used one of them as a reference to draw an actual pic of him. (The top left one, in this case!) Was a very fun exercise and I highly advise having a go at it for an art challenge. :3 Dall-e mini - https://huggingface.co/spaces/dalle.....ini/dalle-mini
The detective can be rather 'cruel' when he doesn't get the information he wants. You should’ve talked when you had the chance...
The case is ahoof! There's been a murder, and these two cyberpunk detectives are on the trail. The lady on the left is Ultra, belonging to @phaeaciusofmystery and the guy on the right is my own D.I. Harton Crown. That’s synthetic blood on the ground, so this is where Harton would make some dismissive comment about "bots killing bots, again", being somewhat of a robophobe. I'm sure he'll get on with Ultra juuuuust fine. : S
Another pic of Harton, showcasing his holoprong a bit more! In much the same way a prosthetic limb is designed to regain a person’s confidence, a digital prosthetic does the same ... but the tech for realism just isn’t quite there, yet...
Also trying to give a sense of the type of world Harton exists in. A place where the organic can easily be replaced with a crude digital version. Perhaps his dystopian city is filled with holographic trees, because the organic ones keep melting in the acid rain!
I’m really enjoying this pixels + gradients style. Also, this guy is very fun to draw :D
Putting some serious thought into making a point’n’click adventure game in the style of the ones I used to play in the 90s.
Meet Harton Crown - a classic hardboiled detective deer with just-the-one branch on his head. He lost the other antler as part of his backstory, but has it replaced with a holographic one (which is currently hidden under his hat. I will produce another concept later to show off his 'holoprong' )
Piano Lessons can be Murder! Scifer’s going to have to put his detective skills to work to solve this point’n’click film noir.
Did this one using the DOS palette. Heavily inspired by Dreamweb and ‘Beneath a Steel Sky’.
