.:Leviathan chatter:. After having seen Master Lugia pass above them, having slept for a night, they were on the way to a supposed “Merfolk city”, which sounded quite interesting on its own. But Gladion had a hard time believing that some merfolk were that humongous. Luna didn’t really have any good explanation herself, as the Masters had always been talked about and described as Leviathans among merfolk. Magic…? // she said. The answer of hers didn’t sit well with him, finding that to be ridiculously simple. That’s hard to believe! They are humongous! How are they not being spotted from the sky if they are the size that they are?! // he said, asking her and sounding a little agitated. I don’t know… Even I, a merfolk, don’t know everything about my kind… // she replied. Gladion just sighed and groaned while rubbing his face. I’m sorry… // she added, pouting a little. It’s… It’s just… Hard to believe! // he exclaimed, wildly gesturing with his arms, finding it all ridiculous beyond belief.  Why is it hard to believe? From what I remember….you humans don’t really believe merfolk exist. But...here we are. // she said, tilting her head slightly to the side with a sweet smile on her lips. At least from everyone that’s seen me has always been gawking… // she added, getting a little uncomfortable thinking about it. Gladion just looked at her stunned and a little uncomfortable himself, having a hard time arguing with her about it. She then just smiled, followed by some laughter due to his expression which she found funny. He knew that she wasn’t wrong per se, but his point were that, as a human, how could the Leviathans never have been seen from above? Why weren't there any sightings or photos of them by people in planes? Of course magic were playing a part, but in what way? Did they camouflage themselves to the human eye while merfolk could still see and interact with them? So many more questions were arising, and knowing that they were heading to a merfolk city of sorts, he hoped that there were something of a library or an archive there, so he could do some research about the matter. --- --- --- More mermaid AU stuff. :) And it’s for Lonashippingweek 2022 (aka Lonashippingday 2022)

Master Lugia --- --- --- Several weeks seemed to pass, and he finally had gotten comfortable eating raw fish, as well as being comfortable with his new body. Luna had also taught him to hunt, as she didn’t want to provide for him. He was an adult after all, and he needed to know the basics was her argument whenever he failed to catch anything, but he slowly got a hang of it, which seemed to please the mermaid greatly. After weeks of staying in the same cave, she could smell the strong odor of the dead fish they had been eating and wanted to leave, knowing that predators would be finding them with ease. As soon as she told him, he agreed and off they went. He did struggle a little with his tail, but managed to get into a rhythm that worked for him, and the movements became quite fluid. They stayed close to some reefs, making sure they could hide if needed, as well as her showing him the different species of fished that were roaming around at their own pace. While watching them closely at a reef miles off from where they had stayed for a while, all the life around them vanished within seconds. They both looked confused and looked behind them, seeing a massive figure in the distance. Without hesitation, they hid behind some of the reef, watching closely. Luna then gasped lightly, which made him flinch and started to worry. It’s master Lugia! // she said excitedly. Master…Lugia? // he repeated, looking confused, but were very much alert of the presence. Yes! He’s usually around Johto and Kanto, but it seems he has taken a stroll. Better not disturb him, as he can get very angry… // she said, gesturing for them to silently swim off. Despite the merfolk in the distance, Gladion felt uncomfortable and decided to take another look, making sure it was safe to move, only to look up at a massive leviathan passing above them. His mouth were fully open in awe, as he had only read about leviathan's in books and seen them in several fantasy movies, but seeing one in real life were something he had never expected to experience. Luna saw his expression and couldn’t help but to giggle softly, finding him adorable. The size of this merfolk were incredible, and made him wonder how they kept themselves hidden, considering their humongous size. Since he were rather stunned by the sight, Luna figured that it was a good time to settle for a while, finding a place to sleep for the upcoming night. --- --- --- Long overdue Mermaid AU update!  And a wild Lugia has been spotted! 8D Art(C)ScandiYatt

.:Sleeping Quarters:. After some time, just recollecting and pondering on the rather weird conversations they had, Luna looked around and saw that it had started to slowly go dark. Grabbing his hand, she lightly tugged on it as a sign on to get moving. She quickly told him that it’s getting dark, and specific predators would be wandering around at night.

So we better get some shelter and some sleep if possible.// she said softly, looking around cautiously.

Alright, but..Is there any shelter around here?// he asked, looking around, seeing only rocks and coral.

There should be some caves nearby. Let’s see if they are safe!// she exclaimed.

Tugging harder on his hand, he followed suit. She kept holding it as they swam off, but quickly let go of his hand and swam off, looking through the cave formation. Gladion stood behind, looking around himself, not wanting to be caught by some predator. While he was looking around, Luna called for him.

It should be safe!// She exclaimed, making him flinch.

She gestured for him to come down and watched her turn around, going into the cave. Gladion swallowed thickly and stumbled a few times before managing to swim down. While heading down, he looked to the side and hit his head on the rocks, which Luna heard since it gave a rather loud sound, as well as him letting out a painful groan. She turned around, and saw him holding the sore spot on his head and couldn’t help but to laugh, calling him a silly human.

You better be quiet!// he hissed and pointed at her, which made her laugh even more.

She bit her lower lip as he got in front of her, looking annoyed at her. She then gestured for him to follow her, which he did and found a rather cozy area. Luna got down onto the sand and got comfortable. Gladion struggled down, and laid on his side, letting out a soft sigh. While doing so, Luna moved her tail up to his head, and moved her head over to his, which made him incredibly nervous and slightly freaked out.

You can use my tail as a pillow, and I'll use your tail. It’s not good to have some small snail or crab get a hold of your ear while sleeping...// she said, followed by a soft chuckle.

R-right...//he muttered.Luna got as comfortable as possible, and went straight to sleep.

Gladion were struggling to use her tail, despite her very good reason behind it. After calming down his mind quite a lot, he laid down. As much as he saw her scales, as well as his own, she were incredibly soft against the little skin he had on his cheeks. Laying down, he kept looking at her sleeping peacefully, and her hair gently moving behind her. He did feel incredibly tired, as a lot had happened in a short period of time, but were grateful that a familiar face decided to look out for him, and help.

Despite all of that, he didn’t get much sleep that night.

---------- More mermaid AU.~ Finally some sleep! lol

Small Edit Forgot the spots on Gladion’s fins. Just added them.

After some food, Luna dragged him with her to a new spot, getting away from the odor that those dead fishes would give off and attract other predators. Sitting down, she started asking him questions about the human world. She had been captured, and been sold off several times since she was an older pup (teen) and had seen the weird interactions they had done, besides when Gladion actually ran to save her that one time at Aether. Gladion didn’t know how to reply to that, trying to get a proper answer for her.

He started with that even himself couldn’t understand what some people would do in order to save their business or get money. Luna kept humming softly, thinking and trying to understand.

What’s money? // she then asked, which baffled him for a strange reason.

It’s...uuh...it’s what we call these...paper slips...that we use to exchange items with. // he replied, trying to make sense of it all.

Is money that valuable? Why is it that valuable? Can’t you just trade with something else like… a pearl or a rare shaped shell? // she asked.

Gladion had no idea how to explain it, as he had never thought about it. It was just how human society has been for years, and it definitely wasn’t anything else that would take money’s place anytime soon either. Luna kept looking at him for an answer, tilting her head to the sides and trying to read his expressions in order to understand more. Upon seeing her curious expression, he just looked away, clearing his throat and hiding a faint pink hue on his cheeks. She did understand that she had to exchange items of the same value of what she wanted, but that some paper would get that valuable was strange to her. It was just paper after all!

It's...it's really hard to explain...It’s just been like that forever in the human world. // he replied, followed by a soft groan.

I do remember I was exchanged for an old looking suitcase some time ago…But that wasn’t made out of paper! // she exclaimed, thinking she had seen through the whole money thing.

That suitcase probably had a lot of money in it… // he replied back.

Oh, that might be true… // she added, humming softly again while thinking about it.

Don’t think too much about it...You’ll just get a headache out of it. // Gladion said, seeing how hard she was thinking and trying to understand.

Okay...But you humans are so weird… You even have two tails! And you walk on them! // she replied, followed by a soft giggle.

Gladion let out a soft sigh, thinking that he managed to get her to think of something else other than his two-tailed surface adventures. Luna’s curiosity just grew, but didn’t want to stress the previous-human male even more due to his sudden change of life. ---------- Long overdue follow up on my mermaid AU! lol Art(C)ScandiYatt

.:Feeding Time:.

After learning how to swim by her, she swam off, coming back with a few fishes and handed some to him. He just stared at the fish, which was already dead. Being stressed and in panic mode for a while, it definitely faded away in an instant when he held the fish by its tail. She started to munch on one, telling him that he should eat in order to get his strength back.

As ironic as it was, being a marine biologist, he hated fish as food. Much less, raw fish. Not feeling any appetite, he just kept looking at the dead animal, trying to gather courage to take a bite. HIs mind going through every species of fish he knew, analysing it and trying to figure out if it was a poisonous one.

You not hungry? // She asked him, her voice muffled by the food in her mouth.

I...I’m fine...Thanks… // he muttered, swallowing thickly.

You have to eat something! It’s no good swimming on an empty stomach! // she exclaimed, taking another bit of her fish. You don’t like this type of fish? I can get a different one! // she then added, trying to sound cheerful.

I’m...I’m fine! // he replied quickly.

It took a few good minutes before he even took a bite, trying his best not to gag in front of her. When she saw him take his first bite, she lowered her shoulders, feeling content that he would survive after all. Gladion, on the other hand, wished that he had just drowned at this point.

After a while of calming him down, and dragging him with her to a more secluded area, she didn’t hesitate to get him to swim. She constantly told him that he needed to know how to be as fast as possible, as merfolk were seen as prey, and they needed to swim off in a hurry if a predator had been sighted. She didn’t give him any time to recollect his mind before she pushed him into it, telling him how to move his tail, how his arms should be either at the front or at his sides, depending on speed.

He tried to take it all in, but being confused and everything happening at once, nothing came out of it. Eventually he sat down at the reef, sighing and trying to take a breather. Once she noticed, she grabbed his hand and started to tug lightly.

You need to learn it right away! You can’t sit down yet!// she told him.

I...i’m sorry...but...// he muttered lightly, shaking his head. //It all is happening so fast!// he added, lightly hissing it at her.

A little break then...// she said while pouting.

He kept looking around, trying to recognize the area. He then looked down at his tail, swallowing thickly. The female kept asking if he was ready again, only for him to hiss at her to give him a minute. She saw that he was quite disorientated, but she only wanted to help. Knowing that he was a human before, she started to think, hard, about different ways of teaching him to swim, that would make sense to his human brain.

She eventually found something she thought would be helpful, and again grabbed his hand, tugging and saying that he should get up. Lightly groaning, he got up, being quite unsteady as is.

You know waves right?// she asked, letting him use her for balance.

Yeah…? What about it?// he replied, tensing all the muscles he had just to stand up straight.

Move your tail like a wave!// she said, giving him a soft gentle smile.

Like a wave…?// he parroted.

For some reason, that made sense to him, though, a human didn’t have that many joints in their legs, so he was sure it would take a good while before he would even get the slightest hang of it. As he started, trying it out, she did the same, showing him and explaining how he should, at least try, to feel every joint there was.

It took a while, as he predicted, but he eventually got his mind around it and was able to stand up properly. She praised him, and told him to continue, as they needed to get out of the open waters quickly, since there would be a lot of Sharpedo’s and other predators arriving when the sun started to settle.

Gotta learn fast! lol

Being panicked, he didn’t notice that some rather familiar creatures were observing him from afar, wondering who he was, and why he was panicked. They kept observing him, but after a while, they left, leaving one to stay behind and kept watching him. The one left behind was a female, and despite not knowing who he was, she did recognize him after a while.

Taking a good look around the nearby surroundings, she didn’t see anything suspicious. Swimming up to him, she gently grabbed his arms, which made him panic even more. Trying to calm him down, she eventually gave him a light slap across his face, which slightly snapped him out of it, meeting her gaze.

He recognized her, but didn’t know how to react other than to stare at her, the panic slowly subsiding.

You’ll be fine, Gladion. // she said softly.

Hearing her talk stunned him, his shoulders dropping. As she noticed that he wasn’t as much on guard anymore, she gave him a gentle smile. She took his hands in hers, and guided him with her, getting closer to the reefs, it being safer and quicker to hide if any predator would arrive. It did take a while for him to calm down enough to listen to her.

You are safe, just breathe slowly... // she said, starting to do some breathing exercises.

Gladion followed suit, and eventually managed to calm down. As he collected himself, he just kept staring at her. It was her. The same mermaid that was in the aquarium tank in his office.

Why…? // he muttered.

Why? // she parroted, tilting her head.

He just looked down at his newly grown tail and fins. She nodded, and told him that a sea witch might have given him his tail, just to amuse themselves. She then explained to him that the merfolk usually kept themselves away from a sea witch, as they were only bringing bad news.

Why me…? // he asked, the panic starting to show itself in his eyes again.

Bad luck. You’ll be fine though. // she replied and got closer to him, cupping his cheeks, giving him a soft smile.

I’ll make sure you’ll survive until you turn human again. ----------

Months passed, and Gladion had been out at sea, trying to find something interesting among the reefs in order to get his mind on something else. After the attempted thievery of the mermaid, which resulted in the creature to disappear. It didn’t sit well with him to lose her, as his research had completely stopped.

Sitting at the deck of the dive boat, he looked around at the open sea, silently growling to himself. Looking over at the small crew he had with him, finding them too loud while they were chatting among themselves. Letting out a light sigh, he got up and decided to do some free diving, as he didn’t want to bother with the scuba gear.

Getting the goggles, he let his crew know that he’ll be going, and to keep the boat close, as he wouldn’t go far. The crew nodded, and watched him get into the sea, instantly going under towards the reef under the boat’s shadow.

He didn’t notice that the current were quite strong, making him slowly drift off deeper into the sea. He did on occasion get to the surface to get fresh air, but were quite preoccupied with his own thought that he didn’t notice that the boat had disappeared.

The further he got out into the sea, he noticed a pack of dolphins approaching quickly. Keeping himself still, he watched them as they approached, passing him in a hurry. Not paying too much attention to them, one of the animals crashed with him, knocking him out with its powerful tail.

As he was knocked out, a massive sea creature found him. The creature didn’t think twice about playing games with the blonde, giving him a light tap on his forehead, giving off a light, playful giggle before swimming off again.

He woke up again after a while, laying at the seafloor. Groaning lightly, he ran his hand through his bangs as he took in his surroundings. Being confused as of why his surroundings looked like the seafloor, he looked around, slowly getting to the realization that he was underwater. The panic started to grow on him, and he looked down, finding a tail, and some fins. Sinking more to the ground, he kept staring at his hands, studying the tail of his, pinching himself several times to make sure that it was all real, and not some ridiculous dream.

Oh my god…

As the panic set in, he tried to move up to the surface, but not knowing how to use the tail, he kept standing in the same spot, which only made him panic even more. He was sure that he'd die at this point, as he had no idea how to survive, much less, escape if needed.

Word had gotten around that there was a live mermaid at Aether, which started to cause trouble left and right. Gladion knew it was Lillie who had told Hau, who then had been running his mouth to whoever that managed to hear it.

Doing his best to keep people away from his office, it became too much at the end, which ended up with a few attempts at sneaking inside to catch a glimpse of the creature. One night, there was an attempt on breaking in again, or so they thought.

The entire building being closed, thieves had managed to shut off the alarm, breaking into the facility, and over to Gladion’s office. They had heard about the mermaid, and the creature was their target, planning to sell her off to someone who wanted to give off a lot of money.

It didn’t go well, as Gladion was around, doing some late night work in a different office. Noticing some ruckus outside, he decided to give it a quick look, as there shouldn’t be anyone around. Not being able to see anything outside, he didn’t think much of it, figuring it was his imagination playing tricks on him since it was late.

As he were about to get back at the desk, he heard his name being screamed, which startled him. Not thinking twice, he hurried out of the room. While running down the hallway, he started to think of who might have screamed his name, since no one should be around.

It then dawned on him, running as quickly as possible down to his office, finding the door pried open, and the lock destroyed. Cautiously going into his own office, he noticed that the massive aquatic tank were broken. Seawater covering the floors, but no mermaid in sight. Taking in the sight of the broken tank, he could hear someone give off a rather painful grunt, as well as a slapping sound in the distance.

Hurrying out to the front, he noticed a group of men struggling to carry the mermaid, as she was flailing and wriggling so much, occasionally slapping the one holding her tail. Once she noticed Gladion in the distance, she stopped and just looked surprised at him, which made the men carrying her suspicious, looking into her direction.

They were all cursing and started to work even quicker. Gladion didn’t have time to think as she sprinted towards them, planting a firm fist in the face of the guy holding her tail. He let go of her, and she got dropped onto the flooring with a loud thud. The guy got knocked out, and the other dropped the creature instantly, starting to throw punches left and right at the blonde.

The fight didn’t take on for too long, as once she had been dropped, and the guy who had been knocked out woke up, the men fled in a hurry. Having received a few blows, Gladion looked around finding a small trail of blood, leading to the railings. Following the blood trail, he found the mermaid with the railing, looking down at the seawater several meters below them. Gladion started to panic. Not because she would escape, but that she were hurt.

Calling for her, he started to approach her. Only for her to drag herself under the railings. As quickly as she did, he hurried over and heard the water surface break. Leaning over the railings and looking down at the water, seeing her just beneath the surface for a few seconds before she got up, inhaling a few times. He could barely see her face, but could tell that she were in pain from whatever injury she had gotten.

He just stood there, staring at her as she dived and disappeared. The injury she had gotten, leaving a few spots of blood on the surface. He sighed and hung his head, lightly shaking. Looking over his shoulder, he decided to go back to his office, seeing if he could find anything else that those thieves might have been after.

He didn’t find anything, other than a few scales from her, and some glass shards with blood on it. The sight made it clear that they had broken the glass, and forcefully dragged her out, making her injure herself. At least nothing else were taken from his office regarding his research.

Cleaning up the mess took a week, and Gladion started to feel rather lonely in his office, which ended up with him not spending any time there at all. He would, at most days, stay at a seaside cafè, just staring out at the sea, fiddling with the few scales he had found from her, wondering what she were doing and if she were doing fine.

Out of curiosity, he let the webcamera run at night on occasion, being hopeful that he’ll catch her without him playing the piano. It took a while, but he eventually got lucky and caught her. She was, as usual, swimming around before sitting down on the rock formation within the tank. He wasn’t able to see her front, as her back were facing the camera.

Keeping his attention on the screen, waiting for something to happen, she suddenly swam off again. While looking at the video, he sighed, hoping for more. As he were about to close the video, she had started to hum softly, slowly starting to sing. His jaw dropped, feeling like he had made the biggest discovery in the world.

Having his attention glued to the screen, listening to her soft, gentle voice sent shivers down his spine. While listening, it made him believe that she was a Siren, but the odd thing was…

He wasn’t feeling enchanted, like the many tales and stories told about them.

Not being too fond of the creature in the tank within his office, as she kept herself hidden most of the time. He was supposed to study her, see how she would interact with different items etc. But since she was hiding, it made it hard, as well as it didn’t seem like she was interested in anything else than sleeping at the bottom of the tank.

Being tired of the creature's shenanigans, he decided to just leave her be and do something else in the meantime. His frustration ended up with piano play. Playing a few soft notes would usually calm him down, what he didn’t know was that the creature was rather intrigued by the music, swimming up to the glass. The creature, being a fabled mermaid, would sit quietly and listen. He couldn’t tell, as he had his back towards the tank, keeping his eyes onto the keys.

This was one of the days where Gladion was getting overly annoyed and frustrated with some paperwork, and as usually, ending up playing. The soft tunes filling the rather large office of his, refocusing his attention and calming down. It was then he heard a soft voice in the background. Not sure where it came from, he continued to play, but kept hearing it. Looking up from the keys, he looked up at a framed picture on the wall. The reflection made his jaw drop and his eyes grow wide.

It was her. She was singing alongside his piano play.

Instantly he stopped and turned around, looking directly at her. She didn’t notice that the music had stopped. Once she noticed there was no more music, she stopped singing and looked up. Her eyes met with Gladion’s and froze. Her eyes grew as wide as saucers, the fear slowly showing as she realized that she was being watched. Sitting perfectly still, she looked around herself in order to find a way to hide as quickly as possible, meeting his gaze every once in a while.

Gladion made the mistake of moving, thinking that she wouldn’t notice if he sat more up front with her. Oh boy was he wrong. As soon as she noticed his movements, she fled instantly, making him move even faster, which scared her even more. She got behind some of the plants and rocks within the tank, peeking over the edge once before swimming down to the bottom to hide even more.

//Dammit...// he cursed silently to himself.

The adrenaline he felt were unbelievable. His heart was pounding as hard as it could, and he were sure that the mermaid could possibly hear it, despite being at the bottom of the tank by now. He sat around a little more before moving back to his desk, writing down what he had experienced, and what she did while he played. It was also the first time he got a good look at her.

So much was going on in his mind that the only sentence he wrote down was…

...What a serene voice she had...

.:Longing:.

After he got turned back into a human, Gladion kept going to the shore, sitting at the rocks and just stare out at the ocean for hours at end. He felt bad for what he did, but didn’t know what to do as she would, most likely, never show herself on the surface anymore, and the trust they had built up for a few years, now completely shattered. All because of his own feelings, that started to surface while she were teaching him the ways of the Merfolk, getting to know her properly and in her own world, where she was comfortable enough to talk.

He had noticed himself that he kept going there, in hope that she would appear again, and for him to hopefully give her a proper apology for his own selfishness.

.:Underwater Waltz 2:. I’m starting to lack names welp ----------

A ridiculous argument unfolded between the two, ending up with Gladion swimming off in anger as per usual. Luna didn’t understand why he got angry, as she was trying her best to explain some things to him about her people and how society works. But him coming from a human world, it was understandable that there was some sort of language barrier. Luna let him go off for a while, letting him cool off before swimming after him. Finding him sulking around a reef, she swam up to him, looking a little scared since he looked ready to launch at her any second. She apologized, trying again to tell him what she was trying to say. Doing her best to use whatever human logic she knew. His frown softened while listening to her, finding it rather ridiculous that she were trying to use human logic to get through to him. He sighed and got over to her, saying that it was fine and that she could stop trying, since it made less sense the more she tried. She sighed and hung her head a little.

Sitting around the reef, she tried again, telling him on how the Merpeople lived their lives etc. What caught his attention was that her kind would usually mimic a few human behaviours, one being dancing. She told him without thinking that she had always wanted to, but didn’t know how because of her tail. With that, he got up and asked her, thinking that it couldn’t be to hard to do a few simple spins. She looked up at him in surprise and hesitated before taking his hand. It took a few rounds before it looked even close to something like humans did. Feeling like she can finally do something similar, she smiled and soft giggles escaped from her, having fun. Seeing that she was having a blast, his usual stern expression softened greatly, finding himself enjoying it.

After a few broken twirls, they came to a halt when they heard something rather loud in the distance. Still standing quite close, they exchanged looks before some soft chuckles came from them both. Luna gently placed her hand on his cheek. It’s good to see a genuine smile from you for once.// she said softly, still smiling at him. It took him completely off guard, his eyes getting wider as he kept them glued on her. She had been around for years, as she did end up in the aquarium in his new office years back. He just never thought that she would notice anything, since she was behind a glass wall and under water at all times. Feeling his heart racing in his chest, he gently grabbing her wrist in an attempt to move her hand away. He couldn’t, the gentleness of her hand on his cheek was too heavy for him to be able to remove, ending up with him gently having a hold of her wrist, keeping her hand right were it was. ---------- Art(C)TrashYatt

.:Water:.

After having being turned into a merman, and stayed in that form for months, it was quite weird and, somewhat, uncalled for when he finally turned human again. Luna, the mermaid that had helped him these past few months, and the one that was once captured in a tank in his office years prior, it was hard to leave her behind. She had showed him and taught him so much about the ocean, in so many ways that others could only dream of. Standing at the beach, feeling the sand under his feet again was rather strange and unfamiliar. Hearing a few splashing sounds behind him, he turned and found her standing there, looking at him with a quite confused expression, but it wasn’t because he was human again, it was because of his own expression.

What is it? Isn’t this what you wanted? // she asked, tilting her head.

Yeah...it was. // he replied, looking into his palms.

Then what’s wrong? // she then asked, looking even more confused.

It...came a bit quicker than I expected. // he said softly, shifting his eyes over to the female.

Oh...How come? // she asked again, tilting her head to the other side.

He bit his lower lip, not sure how to tell her. For the months he had spent with her, he had found himself getting quite attached to the mermaid. All the moments, the experiences and adventures they had under the surface had put him in a quite difficult position, emotionally.

Because...I’m going to lose something… // he muttered softly.

Lose something? Have you lost something? Is it close by? I can get it in a hurry if you want to? // she said, looking around herself.

Gladion chuckled softly, finding her innocence sweet. He started to walk out to her, stopping right in front of her, telling her that it wasn’t a thing he had lost, or would lose, which made her even more confused. He sighed, scratching the back of his neck while looking down, seeing that she were using her tail to stand up and preserve energy while talking to him. His chest grew tight, swallowing thickly as his mind started to race, trying to find something to say that wouldn’t make it worse for him, or even her. Looking up and directly at her, meeting her grey eyes. She averted her eyes from him, sounding somewhat disappointed, thinking that she wouldn’t be able to find whatever he had lost, only to get her mind interrupted by him lifting her chin up, planting his lips onto hers. Taken by surprise, she didn’t fight it, but rather leaned into it and as she did, he gently wrapped his arms around her waist.

You’re the one i’m losing… // he muttered softly as their lips parted.

Gladion… // she muttered softly.

I’m sorry, that just blurted out of me and I shouldn't have done that. // he said and let go of her, backing off a little.

She just stood there, watching him back off and then turn around, walking up to the shore again. She gently touched her lips, looking down into the water before diving off in a hurry. Gladion could hear the soft sobs from her as she disappeared under water, fighting his own emotions as he continued up at the beach, heading to the streets and the city, starting to head home.

I’m sorry, Luna... ---------- Last lonashipping week prompt "Water". And a little bit of angst bcuz why not? ;)

.:Siren without Song:. (remake) I drew the first verison back in June 2018. Decided to redraw it again to see if i actually have improved or not...heh. At least Gladion don’t look like an alien anymore. lol First image is the new one (2019 ver) and the latest is the old 2018 ver. It’s only 7 months difference, but here ya go. :) Luna have gone through a few changes, as well as Gladion got more casual looking clothes. (Trying to aim for the young adult there heh.)  Art(C)TrashYatt
