Hello peeps, everything okay?

Okay, let’s cut it short, if you are in this tag it means you still enjoy our favorite swimmers and you probably also noticed that lately things have been … well, dry as the desert Haru is walking through in Splash Free! But Summer is almost here, and Free! is coming back so what do you guys think of bringing back the good ol’ Fluff Friday/Smut Saturday event?

And if you don’t remember what FF/SS is, or it is the first time you have heard about it, here’s a quick explanation:

Fluff Friday/Smut Saturday is basically an unofficial-no-strings-attached fan event, where we pick a weekend in which fans create art that is fluff and/or smut, to be posted on Friday and Saturday. There is no need for signing up, no official webpage, no FAQ required (but I guess if you have questions you can ask me?), the only thing you need to do is prepare your fanwork and post it on Friday for fluff, Saturday for smut or anytime on that weekend tbh. 

You can post it right on your tumblr, or on AO3 and then just link it on your tumblr here in a post that you tag with rinharu, harurin and/or sharkbait (just remember that only the first five tags end up tracked in the search system).

To sum up:

This FF/SS event should take part on the 2nd weekend of May so May 12th and 13th!

HaruRinHaru Gift Exchange

Christmas is coming, and with it, the time of the year for joyful celebration, giving and receiving… and the annual HaruRinHaru Christmas Gift Exchange! 

However, this year, we’ll be doing things a little bit differently! 

Due to very recent and sudden changes in the mod team (this year @aenya  and @hinalilly will be running it) we decided it would only be fair to give you all a little more time to get working on your gifts. 

That’s why we would like to invite you to participate in the 2017 HaruRinHaru New Year’s Gift Exchange ! 

This way everyone will have enough time to create their gifts, and we’ll be able to start the New Year 2018 with a burst of HaruRinHaru happiness, hopefully boding well for the upcoming year :D

Whether you’ve already taken part in the event before or not, the gist of it remains the same: all you need to do is prepare some prompts/requests that you’d like someone to use for your gift! 

We’ll try match you up as best as we can so that you’ll all have fun creating, and giving the gift of RinHaruRin to fellow fans out there!

SPECIAL CALL TO ALL THE RINHARUS WORLDWIDE

As some of you know, I’m visiting Iwami next Monday, and I organized a project for the Latin American fandom. The thing is, as I was preparing the fanbook I realized I have plenty of space free! 5 pages to be exact.

I would like to offer the worldwide fandom the opportunity to be part of this project! How? Pretty simple ;)

The fanbooks in Iwami are for fans to write messages on them. If you want to participate, you can send me your special message to [email protected] so I can add it to the fanbook I’m taking with me! It would be nice if it is handwritten! That way I can copy your hw, so send pictures! But if it is too troublesome for you, just send it written on an email.

Latin American Rinharus in Iwami Project!

Hello there, Rinharu fandom!

  My name is Pau, and I’m a Rinharu from Chile! Some of you might remember me from those nights chatting while waiting for the mook back in 2015. I’m also that lady with pink hair who visited Iwami last year. [You can check my post here.] 

I’m going to visit Japan once again this coming October for Take Your Marks! And I am planning on visiting Iwami as well. I particularly love how we, rinharus, work together when something exciting is on the table. That is the reason why I have decided to work on a little but special project with all of you who live in Latin America! 

This project consists in taking on this journey with me; messages, fan art or even small merch from you, and leave them either in the fanbooks or shelves available at the Tourism Office and Santec in Iwami!  

Please consider the following:

✿ This project features mainly Latin American Rinharus. Since there are only 2 months left for me to travel to Japan, I don’t want to risk offering a place to a worldwide fandom as I can’t assure your things will get to my hands on time. HOWEVER, if you are not from Latin America and are willing to pay for an Express Mailing Service you are more than welcome to participate! I want to share this opportunity with all of you :D

Submission Rules:

✿ The max size for fan art must be 15 x 12 cm (the fanbooks are approx. 24 x 18 cm) 

✿ Fan Art must be printed and mailed to me. The same goes for messages/postcards written for you. 

✿If you want to contribute with merch (example a manjuu, necklace or even a plushie) please make sure it’s small! Otherwise I won’t be able to take it with me. 

✿ The deadline is on October 16th. I must receive whatever you decide to send before that day ;)

Since our last edition coincided with the swimming portion of the 2016 Olympic Games, we thought it’d be fun to include another nod to real life events in this year’s RinHaru Week — and nothing in the world could ever fit our theme more perfectly than cherry blossoms, right…? ✿

That’s why we’ve decided to, ahem, pool our efforts with @sakurathon‘s extremely capable team in order to bring everyone a very special springtime edition which will be running from Sunday, April 23rd until Sunday, April 30th!

As usual, we’ve prepared a brand new set of prompts for the occasion (and, in honour of our fusion with @sakurathon, the first day will be devoted solely to cherry blossom-themed shenanigans!). calling the sharkbait fandom for the second round of the FF/SS event

Hello fandom, remember this semi-event we made last year?

Well, if you don’t, let me just copy paste the rules:

Considering the recent events that happened in the fandom, I thought we might need some fluff and smut and it has been one year since the first FF/SS edition, so I guess the time is right.

Summing it up again: make it sharkbait and fluff/smut, nothing else is needed.

The works should be posted next weekend (from June 10th to 12th), tagged with ‘sharkbait ff’ or ‘sharkbait ss’ along with your usual RH-related tags so everyone on tumblr will be able to find it. Spread the word.
