Note: I wanted to end this Whumptober on Pokespe but there’s just no way I wouldn’t make this prompt about Firestar. I also haven't read this book in a while sorry this was just a spur of a moment decision.
Also they get to keep their powers. I don't actually care at all what the Erins say. There is also a bit of divergence in what actually happens, like Hollyleaf isn't dying on the floor, but you know how it is.
