You smiled as you walk to the cash register with gloves in your hand. They weren’t the best gloves in the store but that didn’t matter. You couldn’t afford the best gloves anyways.

It was hard being a villain that isn’t known to the public due the fact that you were always completely covered, not giving away what was hidden under the mask so you still could life a normal life somehow.

Well it wasn’t normal, you still were a wanted villain everywhere but the fact that your true identity was hidden made you able to go out on the street to go to stores and work jobs so you could get things for yourself and the LoV since they were like a family to you.

Getting jobs was another issue since you didn’t have any history about going to school and a diploma. You weren’t a hero and you didn’t tell anyone your quirk. You always said your family couldn’t afford you going to school so people wouldn’t suspect anything.

You worked the smallest jobs that didn’t last long but it didn’t matter to you as long as you made sure your friends had something to eat and something to keep them warm when it was cold. You obviously weren’t the only one working in the LoV but when you started working more instead of your missions, they got worried.

You told them it was nothing big and they didn’t have to worry and in reality it was nothing big, christmas was just coming up. All you guys normally did was just eat together and be grateful for everyone but you wanted to do something different this year.

Just for one person though, your boyfriend Shigaraki wasn’t the best at showing his affection but he tried and that’s what counts. Lately he has been more and more frustrated and he seems like he’s been craving your touch. But every time when you tell him that he can hold you with more then just his pinky finger, he refuses.

He was scared, scared that he’ll accidentally decay you and that he’ll lose the only thing he cares about. At the same time he wanted to hold you, hold you close to him while you told him random stories, but he couldn’t take the risk of losing you so he didn’t. That’s why you decided to get gloves for him.

“Can I get anything else for you?” The cashier asked, getting you out of your mind. “No thank you, maybe wrapping it up since it’s a gift.” You answered and smiled at the cashier as they smiled. “A birthday?” They asked. “It’s for christmas.” You said and they smiled, finishing wrapping it up.

“Enjoy your holidays.” The cashier smiled as they gave you the gift in a bag and you smiled back at them. “Thank you, you too.” You said and walked out of the store happily. All you had to do was wait for christmas to come.

You woke up and looked around you, only to see Shigaraki still asleep. You smiled and got out of your bed, deciding to make breakfast for everyone since it was christmas morning and they all deserved it.

You walked over to Shigaraki’s bed and gently kissed his cheek, walking out of the room right after that. You guys had different beds just because he was too scared to hurt you in his sleep.

You told him that it was fine but he didn’t trust himself and told you that he feels like he might accidentally decay you in his sleep.

You didn’t mind it, even though you wanted to lay in his arms or hold him close to make him feel safe. You knew he needed his time and that was okay, you would respect his boundaries no matter what.

After a while you finished making breakfast for everyone and just brought it to their rooms, one by one, walking into Shigaraki and yours as last to find him awake.

“Good morning Tomura.” You said with a smile and he stretches a bit. “Good morning, how long have you been up?” He asked and you sat down next to him.

“Not too long, I just make breakfast.” You answered and gave him the plate. “You didn’t have to you know.” He said with a yawn and kissed your cheek. “But I still did.” You answered as you guys started eating breakfast together.

Shigaraki put his plate away when he finished and turned back to you. “You seem in a good mood today.” He mumbled as he smiled at you and you just laughed, grabbing the bag with his present.

“Well-“ You started and gave him the present. “Merry Christmas babe!” You said happily and he looked at you and then back at the bag.

“You-“ He mumbled. “I told you that you don’t need to get me anything.” He pouted as he looked up at you.

“But I still did.” You answered with a smile. “Can I open it?” He asked and you nodded, hoping he would like it.

Shigaraki slowly and carefully ripped open the wrapping, not wanting to fuck up and accidentally decay the present. He noticed the gloves and looked back at you.

“Are you sure these are for me?” He said in shock and you nodded. “I know it’s no-“ You said, but got cut off by Shigaraki. “I love you.” He said, leaving the both of you in shock.

It was the first “i love you” in the relationship and you never thought he would be the first one to say it.

“I love you too.” You answered and he smiled, looking down at the gloves again. “Wanna try them on? I looked for gloves so you could touch things without decaying it.” You said nervously and he nodded.

“Touch things huh?” He said with a shaky and carefully put them on. “How do they feel?” You ask. “They feel nice.” He answered with a smile and carefully touched his cup with all fingers, to check if it actually worked.

“C Can I touch you?” He asked and you nodded with a big smile, moving closer to him.

Shigaraki held out his hand and you grabbed his hand, intertwining your fingers. Shigaraki nervously had his eyes closed and refused to open them because he was too scared to see you gone. You could hear his breathes picking up and you gently rubbed your thumb over his hand.

“I’m still here.” You said softly and he carefully opened his eyes, looking at you and back at your hands. Both of you teared up and he squeezed your hand a bit to check if he wasn’t dreaming.

“You’re here.” He said softly and you nodded, carefully pulling him in a hug, not wanting to cross his boundaries. “You really are here.” He whispered and nuzzled his face into your neck.

“I’m here and I’m not going nowhere.” You answered and gently rubbed his back, ignoring the tears falling down your face and the tears wetting your neck.

Shigaraki didn’t know what to say or what to do, it had been so long since he held someone this close and since someone did something for him. He felt appreciated and loved, he never thought that someone would do something like this for him but you still did it.

He slowly pulled back from the hug and looked at you with a light smile. You smiled back and gently wiped his tears away with your thumbs and placed kisses on his scars gently, knowing how that’s a big insecurity of his.

“I love you.” You whispered and pecked his lips, while he just stared at you with a smile.

That’s right, you loved him. You really did love him, trough all the flaws and mistakes he saw in himself, you never left him.
