Reiner would be probably be the most likely husband and best father material. Here’s why–

I believe Reiner is a good person & would do anything to protect the people that he loves. Despite his swapping of personalities (personally I think it’s due to so much trauma that he’s developed a mental disorder–which! Is okay. we talk about mens mental health!) he is ultimately a good person.

He would be very loyal to his s/o and a very overprotective father. (Simply from his own experience).

Reiner most likely walks by his s/o and his children everywhere. He’s not one of those extremely over the top and happy fathers but he’s the type to put his child on his shoulders and has these big conversations about whatever. Sounds morbid but he is a good father.

I personally don’t think Erwin would have started a family by planning it. Most pregnancies his s/o would have had would have been by accident.

HOWEVER, that does not mean he is incapable of being a caring and invested father and husband.

He’s very serious partly from his job but underneath he’s a very caring and loving husband. He’s a big listener and is the most invested father with his children – due from his own upbringing by his dad.

He’s one of those husbands/father that will roll out of bed when their child is mumbling in the night and will just gently hold his kid to sleep. Ushering his s/o to not worry and to head back to sleep.

Bertolt is on the similar page as Erwin. He’s loyal to his cause and is able to differentiate between what needs to be done and his own wants.

Yet in other explainations, I feel his s/o would have to be on his side for him to feel like it is working. Not saying they have to be compliant all the time, Bertolt will understand, but having children with him will have to require him to also agree.

Bertolt as a father; is very gentle. He’s the type of dad to kinda baby proof the entire house before the baby is even able to crawl. He’s a very antsy person and although he won’t directly voice it for a little while, it’s only coming from a loving manner.

Bertolt as a husband would be very caring. I set him on the similar page as Erwin because like him, Bertolt is a big listener. He’ll probably pick up on his s/o’s sudden mood changes in a couple of seconds and instantly is by their side asking if something is wrong.

I put Zeke down as most likely the least. I don’t think he ever really plans on having kids because he has planned so many other achievements for him, that children are the last thing he most likely thinks or even wants.

Zeke as a husband would probably consist of a lot time away and him being somewhat cold towards them. Unintentionally of course. His s/o probably has a thick skin to be able to combat this type of marriage.

I think Zeke however would also try his best to show his caring manner. After all he does love his s/o. I think he becomes over protective with his s/o by shifting them into a more discreet location so nobody but Zeke can know.

Borderline Possessive. Murders people that get to close to his s/o and child. He definitely becomes very anxious of losing his s/o that he becomes more harsher and advises them to stay at home most of the time. As a father, he’s somewhat distant but also probably sits down with his child and lectures them on significant things. It’s not entirely his fault but I think in Zeke’s own eyes, this is how he’s demonstrating his love towards them.

Eren will most likely be the least husband matieral considering ... well you know. :(

If he was to have a s/o before Marley, I think it would be a sudden drastic change from this outwardly affectionate and constant love to a very cold and distant person. This s/o will have to learn somehow to cope.

Unplanned pregnancies. As a dad I think he wouldn’t be planning to have children. I think if the introduction of a baby somehow came into his life, Eren would probably feel more connected to his child. Sees it as an opportunity for him to be able to passed down his ideology and raise this child. I don’t see him sticking around though with his s/o if they disagree on what he believes, probably takes their baby and dips.

I think somewhere deep inside he is a loving and nurturing person but it’s shadowed by all these burdens and fears. As a father, he probably doesn’t have time to understand his child’s emotions. So this child will grow up very emotionaless and possess a very calculating nature. But Eren would for sure be protective not allowing anything happen to them but also teaching his child independence. Something he had to learn from his mother and fathers passing.
