Changed my mind about posting tomorrow, I‘m just gonna drop this now.
Today I found out that there‘s some things you can add to your character for tiny details of story telling and make it look more grounded in reality:
Moles/skin imperfections - everyone has those
Tiny scar - maybe he fell on his face as a kid lmao
Chipped front tooth - let‘s the viewer know he tends to be a bit careless at times. Also, looks adorable
It‘s also pretty fun to paint these in, it‘s like adding wear and tear but on a character instead of a prop :>
Also decided to leave out the goggles this time because they never turn out good and I‘m not a hard surface artist (to be fair i‘m also not a character artist but here we are. Maybe i should quit making excuses and just admit that i‘m lazy)
