I love SasuSaku with all my heart

Because I can’t help finding parallels with my relationship with my BF.

I find funny how at first, I didn’t like characters like Sakura and Sasuke, and also, I kinda hated them a little bit, because I used to think that Sasuke was too overrated and Sakura was full of flaws, which without noticing until now, reminded me of mine.

But as they grew in the series, looking at how Sakura put so much effort in becoming stronger and brave made me think that I was able to do it too, even if some people hates her because their fisrt impression in Naruto’s first part. But I started hating Sasuke more by what he became in order to kill Itachi. Actually, I never forgive him for leaving Konoha. And I felt dissapointed with his “undevelopment” through Shippudden but Adrian made me change my mind; I was misunderstanding Sasuke and judging him superficially.

I identify with Sakura because she never thought that she was beautifil, neither strong, and she had low self-esteem, but she worked hard everyday to change that and she achieved her goals. She’s not as powerful as her teammates, but she grew as a kunoichi and as a person. By watching her character development, I thought that I could do that too, and I’m working like that nowadays.

But what I love the most about her and the main thing I share with her, is her never-dying love for Sasuke, and that is not a weakness, because not everyone can feel that way. And I love my BF that way. Even if he went away, if he changed (and he has done it many times), if he didn’t want me by his side, or if he followed a darkness or an evil path, I would totally still love him, no matter what. My feelings for him wouldn’t change and would still as strong and real as the first day.

And talking about Sasuke, just as my BF, he pretends to be cold, serious, but he’s hiding his true feelings and true personality to others, because he doesn’t want to feel pain and he doesn’t want no one involved in his personal problems. Sasuke pretended to be rude with Sakura because he knew she would follow him into darkness blindly and that’s not a fair fate for someone who’s so kind hearted. He doesn’t want her to suffer, so he choses her well-being above of all and he just want to protect her, maybe not the best way to do it, because he hurted her lots of times, but it was better that way. And after that, he realized all the emotional damage he provoked and wanted to fix that

Even if Sasuke feels genuine and strong love, he’s not good at expressing his feelings and he’s still a little child with fear of being hurted or hurt his precious persons again, so it’s behaviour is a way of self protection and also, to protect them. Again, not the best way. Just as my BF.

I know Sakura is the only one who undestands this, but at first, she couldn’t because her own insecurities and the emotional scars Sasuke’s past actions left on her. But she went through that and Sasuke had to accept his mistakes and he worked to heal Sakura’s heart, also she did on him.

They had to surpass together many hard situations and that was what made them a strong couple with unbreakable bonds. Just as us.

I identify my relationship with SasuSaku not only because we share similar personalities, or my BF looking a-like Sasuke (I started liking Sasuke’s appearance because he reminds me to my boyfriend everytime I see him). I identify with them because their relationship dynamics and their never-dying love. They matured together and we went through so much pain, but that made us what we are now.

Everytime I see them together, I feel happy. Thats the main reason I’m a SasuSaku shipper.
