I come from the Maori nation of New Zealand, the Indigenous people — we’re the Down Under Polynesians — and I wanted to bring that kind of spirit and energy, which we call wairua. I’ve been trained in my cultural dance, which we call the haka. I’ve also been trained in some of our weapons, so that’s how I was able to manipulate some of the weapons in my fight scenes and work with the gaffi stick, which my character has. gotta say one of the funniest characterisation choices they made for boba fett is making him really really poetic. “the arid sands of tatooine will once again FLOURISH with FLOWERED FIELDS, FERTILISED with the bodies of your dead.” this king had the pen for 10 seconds and decided to make space byron roll in his grave
early in my parents relationship, my dad tried to impress my grandmother by speaking some italian but his accent was so bad she made him repeat it over the phone to all her sisters. in this allusion, boba is my grandmother [ID in alt text]
"why doesn't boba even show up in his own show which is already limited to 7 chapters" and "god i am in awe of din djarin and feel like a wife whose husband is returning from war" are two statements that can co exist
