hmmm
There is really something about Kyo in a business suit singing “kokolo” in a low voice…
[images: first, a picture of kathleen kennedy, a white woman with thin lips, brown hair and blue eyes. then shots of felicity jones, daisy ridley and emilia clarke, all white women with brown hair (emilia with fuller lips and daisy with brown eyes, but otherwise all very similar). then, an image of kelly marie tran, an east asian woman with a rounder face, wider and shorter nose and dark eyes and hair. last, a picture of bel powley, another white woman with thin lips, brown hair and blue eyes who also has a similar nose and bone structure to the previous four white women.]
So, according to a person who claims to have worked in the casting of the recent Star Wars movies, “Rian Johnson was very adamant about having a woman of color playing the [new character in Star Wars: Episode VIII] to “subvert expectations”. His pick was [Gina] Rodriguez from the get-go, but something didn’t gel there at all with anyone else but him. Kathleen Kennedy’s favorite was Bel Powley. Kelly Marie Tran didn’t come into the fray until a little later.”
Now, I just want to point this out: The first woman in the upper row is Kathleen Kennedy. Next are the three female leads that got cast in the Star Wars franchise since she’s been in Lucasfilm. Then we have Kelly Marie Tran, the woman who will play a main role in the next SW movie, and Bel Powley, the woman that Kathleen Kennedy wanted for that role.
Qwhite interesting, isn’t it?
WOW!!!! such a shocking discovery!!!!!! I wonder where they found this idea from!!….
two presents for my mom from a while ago! the top one was for mother’s day and the bottom was for her birthday
DO U EVER HAVE FREAK OUTS BECAUSE WHAT IF EVERYONE PERCEIVES COLOR DIFFERENTLY THERE IS NO WAY FOR US TO FIND OUT
It’s actually been proven that no two people see the same color the exact same way
ever
This makes me very uncomfortable.
A girl in my creative writing class said this in response to a story we read about witnessing intimate partner violence and it really fucked with my head because I’ve never, ever, ever, thought of it that way. (via youngbadmanbrown)

Every time Eridan sees Rose at the coffee shop down the block he just sits down at her table (without even asking) and glares her down until she acknowledges his presence.
