Jesus. I already admired Sasha for how natural and comfortable she seemed in her own life and body (plus you know the talent), but those Take Hollywood videos. I mean, wow. It's always so incredibly awe-inspiring to hear someone talk about their craft with the passion and expertise with which she talks about her art. It's just. DAMN. I’m just so proud of her. The woman is capable of accomplishing so much more than what the writers of R&I have restricted her to. I mean did you see Helene’s body language? 6 minutes and Sasha accomplished more than Maura has been able to get in the entirety of S5!!! (Barring that reunion scene in 5x13 maybe. And 4x04, someone give me another 4x04)

What are your views on Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass"?
To me it had potential but turned out to be seriously problematic. While one verse was close to perfection in how rarely the subject matter is celebrated (I see the magazines working that Photoshop… ‘Coz every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top), the song overall does nothing to spread body positivity. It tries to build on the same old concept of ‘real women have curves’, and we all know how wrong that is! It defines only a specific body type as desirable - that’s a big no. And the worst part to me is the need to fit all of a woman’s self-worth on her fuckability to heterosexual men. NOPE, tuning out!
