It’s actually the keyword relating to one of the most prominent and self-shipping DBSJ couples, Changmin and Kyuhyun aka ChangKyu to international fans / 촹규 to Korean fans~
Because Kyuhyun is Changmin’s caramel macchiato~ As he mentioned before on Youngstreet (during SM the Ballad promotions) when Kyuhyun had to text a friend to ask what they thought of his voice,
“(Your voice is like) caramel macchiato; Because it’s so sweet, no matter when I listen to it, it warms my heart and makes me feel relaxed. Your voice is the only one in this world, the one super star and top idol that belongs only to me…”
And then not long after that was DBSK’s “WHY (Keep Your Head Down)” come back, and in the album thanks to Changmin wrote,
“To my friend who is supposed to have a dance battle with me someday, Caramel Macchiato Voice Top Star Cho Kyuhyun^^”
And ever since then it just kind of stuck as their couple name.
