When I binge watch a show, I tend to move on to the next episode as soon as the credits roll, and a lot of times the "pick up where you left off" feature will bookmark me at the credits of an episode I've already finished. Does that muck with the "completion rate" data, or would the progress bar at 99.9% of episode 3 with the rest of the episodes at 100% still count as completion?
(I realise this might be a technical questio that you're as in the dark about as I am)
I think it still counts as completion.
And as a note: there is different end title music for each episode, it's wonderful, and if you can work out how to stop the next episode starting as the credits roll and listen to it, you should.
Does anyone know how to stop it skipping the credits to start the next ep? There’s no setting for it that I can find.
Most of the time (if you're watching on a device not a TV) you can click anywhere not on the next button and it'll typically disable it. If you're watching on a TV however, click up or down or whatever with the remote and it normally works
Thanks! I’ll give that a try.
A whole cult of Muriel lovers has formed in our friendly company and I think they would like to know how many moments with her will be in GO2?
Oh see Neil Gaiman says this as a joke but that is exactly what I intend to do now, thank you for the fantastic idea
This sounds like the beginnings of a drinking game. Or possibly alcohol poisoning.
that Roman bust sliently judging Gabriel’s toga
Seriously this thing is bright white and has been standing out in a bunch of the clips.
oh god Crowley's going to look at Aziraphale like THAT again isn't he; how will I survive this?
Good Omens Season 2 Title Sequence - Part 1
it CAN'T just be me who's thinking it
[Image ID: an image of Jon Hamm as the archangel Gabriel from a poster for Good Omens Season 2, side by side with an image of Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor from Doctor Who. They are both wearing colourful patterned sweater vests, collared shirts, a tie and a long coat. End ID]
hmm! knowing neil's connections with dr who, this could well be a visual reference. or maybe they are both referencing a larger/older/broader style. need more data, wait and see?
matchpoints include the angle of the body toward the camera, the shirt/tie/v neck jumper (fairisle bands of colorwork, my knitting needles are rustling) and the patch pocket on the jacket. the jackets themselves don't match all that closely, which is what makes me wonder about the broader style. (also no hat or scarf, but maybe that's just because gabriel is indoors?)
We have here Crowley on the bench reading the Tadfield Advertiser :)

GO Season 2 Title Sequence: a thread
Here's what I've found so far in the early released title sequence.
The Gravestones:
"EVERYDAY"
"PETER PAINTBALL"
"JANE AUSTEN"
"HERE LIES THE FORMER SHELL OF BEELZEBUB"
"HERE LIES ADAM"
A sign saying "UNDERGROUND"
A sign saying "GENTS"?
Bus ad reading "Wings for Victory"
A billboard of "Stairway to Heaven"
A Windmill Theatre sign reading "The Fabulous Ladies of Camelot; Performances Twice Daily!"
My brain is like a pinball whizzing around bumping into everything at random.
