For the winner of the 1st place of my 10k follower giveaway, Cant-find-the-word. Hope you like it!
People have asked, so here they are: new Dead Boy Detectives, Sherlock and Tolkien prints in my shop. Throughout November, there’s also free shipping.
Happy Halloween, friends!
14 years of Sherlock
30th October is my Sherlock Day on which I watched the series for the first time (back in 2010).
By now I’ve produced over a thousand pieces of fanart, over a million words of fanfic, two hand sewn Sherlock coats, many trips to the UK for Sherlock related events including cosplay sessions, there’s a graphic novel coming up … the list goes on, and even though Sherlock and John have recently got some competition from another pair of detectives (who are ghosts ...), I’m not done with them and their world.
I’ve made many friends in the Sherlock fandom, and would like to thank all the brilliant fanfic authors whose works have inspired many of the artworks above (you can find all my fanfic illustrations at my #fanfic tag, and all artworks at my #drawing tag, and those fics I particularly liked at my AO3 bookmarks), my fellow fanartists who constantly make me want to improve because they’re so good, the faithful readers who leave comments and kudos, and all my followers here and on Twitter for their support.
Those who have been following me for a while know the drill. To celebrate, I’m doing a giveaway for my followers on Tumblr, Twitter, Bluesky and Wordpress, running from today until 6th November 2024, 22h GMT:
- there will be two winners, picked randomly, who each may choose a Sherlock inspired item from my Storenvy shop
- you must be following me and reblog/retweet this post
- no giveaway blogs, I will check
- I will ship to most places. Please ask if you’re not sure if this applies to your country as well. Some countries are more difficult than others to ship fannish items to, especially if those items have queer content. You must be comfortable with giving me your shipping address and a name that corresponds with whatever ID you use to fetch items from your post office – I’m adding this because I had issues in the past with people giving fandom names and then being unable to pick up their parcels because postal employees rightly insisted on matching names.
Throughout November 2024, there’ll also be FREE SHIPPING FOR ALL ITEMS IN MY SHOP. New Sherlock, Tolkien and Dead Boy Detectives pieces will be added to the shop in early November.
Good luck, and thank you.
happy anniversary! i think i won this last year, so i should step aside and let someone else have the pleasure this time.
Inktober No. 17 - Resplendent
A quiet moment of Sherlock babysitting Rosie.
From @bluebellofbakerstreet 's wonderful prompt list for Inktober 2024.
I am flattered if you reblog, but do NOT post my art on other sites/social media or use in any other way without my written permission.
“Not a word, John.”
“I wasn’t gonna—”
“Not. A. Word.”
“Okay.”

“Did you buy semi-skimmed?”
“John!”

Khorazir’s 2024 Inktober(ish)
In previous years, I used Inktober to draw new ink linearts for my ongoing long-term project, my Sherlock & London Graphic Novel. This year, because I probably won’t have time to create an ink drawing every day, I will do something else. As of now, I have 137 uncoloured linearts. The plan is to colour as many as possible, and to create new ink (and watercolour) pieces for Sherlock and Dead Boy Detectives.
More info about the graphic novel and a look at linearts and completed artworks can be found here:

The Violin
I play the violin when I’m thinking. Sometimes I don’t talk for hours on end. would that bother you? Potential flatmates should know the worst about each other.“
Colored Lineart commission of John and Sherlock holding hands. Thank you, lilypheonix!
“What’s this, then, Sherlock?”
“Honestly, John, even you should be able to recognise a key.”
“Oi. What is the key for, and why was it hidden unter Billy the Skull?”
“Well, how about you make a deduction?”
“Sherlock, you know I’m shite at them.”
“Try. Humour me.”
“All right. It’s not for this building or any of the three flats. It’s fairly new, but there are scratches on it, so it has been used. Could be for one of your boltholes, but you haven’t used any of them for a while, at least to my knowledge. The fact that it lived inside Billy indicates that you wanted to hide it, but in a way that it could be found. Or that you wanted to have it on hand in the living room. But what for? Some announcement? Why hide it, then? Probably something you weren’t sure about – something you are, in fact, pretty anxious about, judging from how nervous you seem right now. So it probably has to do with ... well ...us, our strange ... situation here. The one we don’t talk about, because we’re both idiots. So ... knowing you, you did something dramatic, something you’re not sure I’ll approve of. How am I doing so far?”
“Spot on, John.”
“Right, okay. So ... Sherlock, did you ... buy a house or something?”
“A cottage. In Sussex. It’s the one Janine originally acquired with the money she made from selling fabricated scandalous rubbish to the tabloids. She hardly used it and didn’t want to rent it out. It has a large garden, an orchard, and the beehives are intact, too. I thought ... for Rosie ... when she is a little older ...”
“Sherlock ...”
“I know it was ... impetuous. Dramatic, as you said. Going ahead and just buying it.”
“Sherlock ...”
“And I know I should have asked you. But because of our ... situation, as you so aptly put it, I wasn’t sure you’d approve and if moreover you’d actually want to spend more time with—”
“Sherlock! Just ... shut up. And look at me. Because I’m going to kiss you now, okay?”
“Okay.”

All illustrations for my Tour de France Johnlock AU Slipstream, which is (finally) complete.
Folks have asked whether this story might get a book treatment like Enigma and The Horse and his Doctor. The answer is yes, although it may take me a while to edit the story and design the book. So watch this space for news.
Today’s the men’s cycling race of Paris-Roubaix, the “Hell of the North”. This seems a good time to remind folks that I’ve written a Johnlock cycling fic, Slipstream, in which the boys even ride some of the (in)famous cobbled passages that are a staple of the Spring Classics such as Paris-Roubaix, such as the Trouée d’Arenberg.
For those interested in an book version of Slipstream, there are very few copies left: https://khorazir.storenvy.com/collections/1851352-illustrated-novels/products/36466203-slipstream-novel
The 2024 Men’s Tour de France starts on Saturday. For those who’d like to read along – and prefer a queer Johnlock version – my fic Slipstream has you covered 🚴🚵♀️
