i listened to all of it today and it's wonderful. you will want a tissue when you get to the last part. <3<3<3<3. also imma find this other link
ok but this one expires in 28 days so don't snooze on it. Eras looks like it's going to stay up, but this is one of the ephemeral shows. the first few minutes are the important part. again, have a tissue ready. it is so wonderful and moving and perfect, and i so wish john was still alive. there would have been so much more. but we have this now, and it's lovely.

Another OGMC concert, another poster by yours truly! Had a lot of fun with the text design on this one!
we all know crowley is a Queen guy but i feel like aziraphale is an ABBA guy
No, no, friend, the Bentley is a Queen guy supernaturally semi-sentient car. Crowley would like to listen to some soothing classical music to deal with his Antichrist delivery related stress and is stuck with his car's Queen obsession. ;)
Absolutely agree Aziraphale would love ABBA, though. (I imagine Crowley finds them annoying.)
If his 1967 haircut is any indication, Crowley for his part might like the Beatles.
agree that crowley would be a beatles fan! so much for him to enjoy about each of them individually and as a group.
i wonder if aziraphale would be more up to date with, for instance, 20th c orchestral composers. i think he might like elgar and dvorak and britten and even percy grainger.
He's only sleeping,
Rest in peace John, you inspire me so much.
“I love these big fields with the long, soft grass, the waves when the wind sweeps through them. How much easier would our lives be if we could learn from these observations? Just give in to the wind of life and not always resist it. You know what I mean?”
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGE HARRISON (february 25, 1943)
Don’t know what it means to hold you tight
Being here alone tonight with you
It feels so right now, so
Hold me tight
Let me go on loving you
Tonight, tonight
Making love to only you
So hold me tight
Tonight, tonight
It’s you, you you you
New photos + a video that I found from The Beatles get back together premiere ✨
It really does look like he had a great night! :D
I’ve never seen anything like this on film before. Paul really has nothing at the 30 second mark—but 45 seconds later he’s got the makings of a hit single.
There’s a widespread view that creative people wait for moments of inspiration. But McCartney, at age 26, is literally able to force these moments to happen. What a skill! And note his confidence & absorption. This is what the ‘flow state’ looks like in real time. - Ted Gioia, Author of 11 books including Music: A Subversive History, The History of Jazz, and Delta Blues.
This was an absolutely amazing moment. I could watch 8 hours just of these guys creating songs off the tops of their heads.
paul was on alan alda's podcast a couple years ago, and he talked about his process, basically noodling around with chords, till something catches and a melody starts to emerge, and then words. it seems like it just pours out of him like a fountain that he literally can't shut off.
‘Paul’s Golden Slumbers isolated vocals’ -wear headphones
The pure power when he sings the “golden slumbers fill your eyes” line is astronomical
