i'm currently watching NCIS and it reminded me of something i started on a while back!
in season 4, tony dinozzo had to go undercover and feel in love.
so i thought why not do that with jake!

You smiled, “Howdy yourself, Lieutenant.” He tilted his head, “How’d you-” You gestured to your collar, “Your bars, you’ve got two.” He looked down, “Look at that, you’re right.” “So what are you exactly?” Your voice was cool, prepared to turn him down, as he walked over, toothpick flipping in his mouth, “Naval aviator.” Your eyes trailed to the name tag, seeing ‘Seresin’ written there and you gulped, realizing you had to slip into your cover.
i actually really want to get back into this and finish it and it's second part (manly to lighten the load of my wheel)
