Voyager Rewatch: 1x15 - Learning Curve

This whole thing is insulting. We didn’t ask to come aboard this ship, but we understand the situation we’re in and we’ve done the best job we can. And now you’re telling us that’s not good enough.

You know I have always wondered how they knew what direction to take while floating around in space in order to get back to the alpha quadrant.... like stranded in the delta quadrant needing to get back to the alpha quadrant..... Especially because Starfleet never made it to the delta quadrant to map it out.

Soooooooooo........ I guess what I’m really asking here is, how did they know what direction to make a heading for?

The only logical conclusion I could come to was this:

Kathryn Janeway, famous for her “there’s coffee in that nebula” line, is a coffee blood hound and she just aggressively sniffed the air before being like “set a course for home.” You know, I think she just could smell it from 70,000 light years away.

Our education system is so bad that this joke existed in 1999 and nearly 20 years later it hasn’t fucking changed

this is the funniest joke in all of voyager tbh

[ID: A screen cap of a blonde alien girl approximately ten years old addressing a middle aged balding gentleman in a blue science officer’s uniform. She is reciting with a bored expression, “Mitochondria, the warp core of the cell.” End ID]
