jack and bitty can both be little whiny boys and we need to talk about this more. yes bitty is a whiny boy more outwardly & will whine in front of his friends but jack will absolutely whine & pout in front of bitty. there's a reason bitty calls him "monsieur grumpy" and on more than one occasion when bitty has come to wake him up from a nap, he just groans & says "but im sleepy :("
when bitty tries to playfully tug him out of bed, jack pouts and pretends his has no bones, forcing bitty to try and drag his dead weight out of bed (which he could do, but not when jack is being uncooperative/ actively resisting him). bitty says "come help me with dinner or so help me god-" and jack follows him but hugs him from behind and refuses to do anything if he can't do it while hugging bitty
they can both be brats 🥰 embrace it
