Shadow continues to be unimpressed by Sonic's poor landings even in the most dire of circumstances, we love to see it
But hey, at least he's finally gotten the hang of falling into the Shatterspaces! I really liked the little detail of him initially flailing around like usual before correcting himself and landing safely with a roll
Easily Sonic's biggest win of this episode, I'm proud of him

This made me flashback to SA2 so hard that I was half expecting them to include an actual brief flash of Sonic reaching for Shadow in space, that's impressive
Also I don't think we've ever heard Sonic sound this scared for Shadow before, major props to the voice acting because I felt that in my soul
Welcome to Part 5 of my Shadow and Sonic character analysis! This one will be covering the first half of Episode 17: Grim Tidings, being another Sonic and Shadow-centric episode that gives us a lot of content, with the occasional focus on Nine. The reason I'm only covering one half is because once again Tumblr won't allow me to post more than 30 images (or gifs), which is annoying because there is so much to point out.

Welcome to Part 6 of my Shadow and Sonic character analysis, which is actually part analysis, part me just gushing over the Sonadow ship. In this Part, I will be covering the second half of Episode 17: Grim Tidings, which can be summed up as ''little brother is jealous of older brother's boyfriend and also is trying to kill them''.
With this done, I have three more episodes left in which Shadow appears, and unless I get too many screenshots/gifs so Tumblr won't let me post them all, Episode 21: Home Sick Home and Episode 22: The Devil is in the Tails will be one post, while Episode 23: From the Top will be its own post. There might also be a slight delay in me covering those episodes because I need to gather all of the material for them.
In any case, let's dive into this episode!
Shadow: *reaches out, empathizing*
Shadow: *protects Sonic at all costs*
Sonic: *fighting the urge to faint after Prism energy extraction*
Shadow: *steps forward, reaching out*
Sonic: *collapses*
Shadow: *eyes widen and ears fall from worry*
Shadow: *taking hold of Sonic's hand, he wraps the other around his waist*
Shadow: *lets Sonic use him as an anchor*
And the frantic race to save Sonic's life
Shadow: *showing his concern as Sonic drops to his knee, unable to carry on*
Shadow: *sweeps Sonic up into his arms, realizing he's running out of time*
Shadow: *sees Sonic slipping away, right before his eyes*
Shadow: *about to break the sound barrier*
Shadow: "HANG ON, SONIC!"
Shadow: *dilated pupils out of fear and panic*
Shadow: *his grip tightens around Sonic, refusing to lose him*
Shadow: *his unwavering determination to rescue someone he holds in high regard*
Now, if that isn't character development, then I don't know what is 😭😭😭

Welcome to Part 8 of what started as Shadow's character analysis, but also turned into analysis of Sonic in relation to Shadow, as well as me just gushing over the Sonadow ship coz I find it cute.
This post covers the finale of Sonic Prime, Episode 23: From the Top, but this won't be my last post, because I decided to make one more, featuring something of a Final Conclusion to Shadow's story in Sonic Prime.
Well, either that, or I'll just write a bunch of headcanons in regards to what happens after the finale.
