Enkidu observed the young Gilgamesh, but could not understand the need to punish such an amiable, ideal king who was praised and lauded by his infatuated subjects. Sonic is the same as Gilgamesh back then. That's why deep down Gilgamesh very care for Sonic a lot. But because of him now, he will hurt Sonic if Sonic knew the truth about what happened to Gilgamesh. And all because of him. That's why he always stays away from Sonic and lets Punch face off.

Because Punch and Sonic, are his dearest the most that keep him moving forward but you can tell why "my younger self" he refers to Sonic. He wanted to be himself that's why he didn't want his childhood to end up like him that's the reason he stay away.

Sonic: Promise me. Don't part from her.

Gilgamesh: I won't I promise.

Sonic: And.....don't run or hide from me again, okay?

Gilgamesh: ..................!! Thank you for not hating us.

No matter how much Sonic tried.....he never "Ever" to save his brothers. But Sonic never give up. Sonic chose to love them, not hating them and make King Gilgamesh relieved and thank Sonic for not hating him.

Punch: Why?! Could you please let me know why you're trying to hold me?! It's so painful to be near you!

This is Sonic's answer the same as King Gilgamesh's.

Punch: Even you knew I could kill you anytime I want?

That's why in #design analysis Sonic, Punch and King Gilgamesh need to be both cute and cool or both beautiful and handsome at the same time. If I didn't do that, how could I show they're "genderless" in the first place?!

And their eyes must be beautiful to show that they're not humans. Sonic, Punch, and Gilgamesh have very beautiful pupils in their eyes. (That symbol makes them non-human.) They are also extremely special and can create tools to create their own human hearts and feelings.

Hakunon: BB, did you put the ocean out there?!

BB: Yeah.....I mean......He deserves to spend time with his brother, right?

Hakunon: You mean that little blue alien is Gil's brother?
