This quirk is not present with English Omochao.

- Although normally impossible to see, the room in the cutscene in Shadow the Hedgehog wherein Black Doom is shown beside Professor Gerald by the unconscious Shadow in his capsule has other capsules that contain horribly deformed Shadow’s, all of which are missing limbs. As stated, they are normally impossible to see and can only be seen by hacking the camera. They are notable for having entirely unique textures on their models [SOURCE]

- The original name for the infamous scrapped Sonic CD zone commonly known as R2 was “Dubious Depths”. Aside from being underground-themed, it was also dungeon-themed. This was confirmed by Naoto Ohshima in a Twitter DM in 2023 [SOURCE] - In the 16-BIT version of Sonic 2, The Tornado was orignally planned to have a transformed state during Sky Chase Zone. Yamaguchi did not have time to incorporate the transformed sprites, causing its scrapping. Instead, the Tornado received a booster. No paper documents exist depicting this transformation as Yamaguchi drew the sprites on the SEGA digitizer directly [SOURCE] - The reason as to why Sonic has 3 spines on his back in his Sonic 2 special stage sprites was due to a misinterpretation of Sonic’s design from his Sonic 1 sprites [SOURCE]
- Super Sonic was originally intended to having a cycling palette of 7 colours. This was likely recycled for Hyper Sonic in Sonic 3 & Knuckles [SOURCE]
- Tails wears gloves and shoes in imitation of Sonic but they are too big for him. This is why he wore belts around the cuffs so that they would fit him better [SOURCE]
- Mecha Sonic’s concept art states multiple abilities that the robot possesses that didn’t make it into the final iteration of the boss fight such as missiles, lasers, a chainsaw and a super gravity smash [SOURCE]
- Rhea and Ouranos Islands in Sonic Frontiers were originally part of Kronos Island. They were split-off from the latter during development due to issues with creating the end-game.
