some words of wisdom from @robotforest
inspo under the cut. thanks to @spacerocksarethebestrocks for the big brain connections
like presumably the reason there’s so much electrocution in tcw is because they needed a way of having characters be tortured in a child friendly (or at least no blood) way and also a way for them to be incapacitated in a child friendly way and electrocution works well for both and anakin just gets the worst of it because he’s the main character But also it becomes so comically frequent it starts to be like hey maybe the plot of rots happened because of anakin’s severe untreated brain damage

CLONES APPRECIATION WEEK 2021 Day 4: Favorite Legion? → 104th Battalion
The 104th Battalion, also known as the “Wolf Pack” Battalion, was a clone trooper military battalion of the Grand Army of the Republic. The 104th was led by Jedi General Plo Koon and Clone Commander CC-3636, also known by his clone trooper nickname of “Wolffe,” throughout the Clone Wars.
STAR WARS APPRECIATION WEEK 2022 Day 9: Favourite TV Show → Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008 - 2020) “If there’s one thing I’ve learned from you, Master, it’s that following direct orders isn’t always the best way to solve a problem.”
He could hear their footsteps getting closer. He could hear his own heartbeat and shallow breaths as he looked around, searching for a way out. But the most deafening thing was Rex's quiet, weak breathing.
"Just... leave me here." the clone whispered, his voice hoarse. "The mission is more important."
"No. I'm not leaving you." he hissed through gritted teeth, blinking the blood and tears from his eyes. "I don't give a shit about the mission, you hear me? I'd rather die than leave my men to die."
"With all due respect, that logic is going to get you killed."
He laughed quietly in response, glancing at the captain. "I know..."
"But... To die by your side... oh, the pleasure, the glory is mine."

I think you mentioned somewhere that in the Old EU it was Anakin who came up with the idea of giving Clones names. Or maybe someone else, what was the source, I don’t know.
I kept mentioning that from time to time, yes :)
It happened in Star Wars Republic comics series:
And when in Star Wars Obsession #4, Anakin learnt Alpha is now namig other clones and asked about it, Alpha said to Anakin “you started it, kid”.
Of course, I wouldn’t say that only Anakin contributed to this change but he was for sure one of the first prequel Jedi we saw to be bothered about their lack of names and actually doing something about it. The additional sources, like Fact Files 114 even point out that Anakin’s determination to see Alpha as an individual, whereas other Jedi referred to him as ‘the clone’. was one of reasons Alpha respected (liked) Skywalker.
And this little act of naming one ARC developed into giving / allowing names to other clone troopers.
The Marshal Commander
This took me very long but I’m very happy with it ✌🏻
