The Moon is very much our inward nature. Yes it does represent mother but it's a bit more complex than that. It represents our experience in the womb, our nurturing needs, as well as how we nurture others. It can represent the kind of food that we need to eat to feel nourished not just physically but emotionally as well.

It represents our family dynamics, especially the past, going down the family tree. It’s our home and our childhood. It can tell us a lot about our feminine side(anima), our relationship with our mother. How we will be as a mother.

It’s what we are sensitive to, our feelings, what we hold on to and have a hard time letting go off. Our intuition, mood, and even habits.

The Sign which the Moon is in will show us exactly what these things are.

A Leo Moon will need to fulfill their creative side to feel emotionally satisfied. They may need a lot of attention to feel special while they figure out exactly where their specialties lie.

A Sagittarius Moon will need to fulfill their restlessness and adventurous needs by exploring new ventures and delving deep into them. Their emotional nature is inherently optimistic.

All these of course will then change depending on the house placement(which part of your life is this taking place in) and aspects to other Planets in the chart.

Favorite moon places and why?

I consistently like people with Aries or Sagittarius Moons.

Aries are kind of in your face, they aren't the type to turn the other cheek and I appreciate their rowdy, messy natures.

Sagittarius is always easy to talk to for me, they are also very, very honest people so you know where you stand with them.

I have a lot of fun with these Moon Signs personally and we always have great energetic conversations.

I usually like Scorpio Moons too, they are a little bit more closed off and its harder to get to know them because they are just way more cautious (as are most water moons) about who they let into their personal space.

Pisces Moons too actually because you can be yourself with them and not feel judged, if I share something that I don't particularly like about myself they are mostly very accepting in this very Neptunian boundless way of theirs.

Honorable mention to my Capricorn Moons because I never not get along with one even though you guys are very emotionally closed off and are picky af when it comes to who gets to be in your lives, yall unlike Pisces Moons don't like to waste time and energy on the wrong people.

8th house suns are usually interested in self analysis, they often seek out the darkest parts of their psyches, they have a deep desire to find the deeply buried wounds in the subconscious and heal them. this often leads them into the world of mystics and the occult. because there is a natural tendency to understand and be interested in topics that seem taboo to the public, these individuals keep a lot of who they are to themselves and have a hard time sharing themselves with the public.
10th house suns have a need to be something/someone, they tend to base their identity on their accomplishment, especially in the arena of career. there is a need to be seen, to be known for something by the public. a lot of their energy is focused on their career. they can feel very insecure if they are not meeting their goals and putting themselves out int the public eye. a lot of the time though, the meeting of a goal or an accomplishment brings with it a short moment of happiness and fulfilment, these are the type of people that will want more and more and feeling true happiness from their accomplishments become rarer and rarer because in their mind they can always do better.
7th house moons are really receptive of other peoples emotional needs, in relationships they are very nurturing but can run into the problem of being too passive. another problem these people may run into is becoming that which you are in a relationship with, this happens because the individual does not have a clear idea of who they are, they are very easily influenced emotionally especially since these influences often times come in through the subconscious channels.
1st house saturn people tend to have a hard time understanding who they are, their self-identity is often not realized and crystallized until they are well into their adulthood but, once that is reached the individual is extremely confident and stable in who they are.
8th house placements can use their sexuality to gain power over others and to control them, these people channel really magnetic sexual energy and often draw people to them as if moths to a flame.
aries mars people have very little qualms about going after what they want, even if their sun is introverted these people have the fire in their heart to go after whatever they want head first, saturnian energy can hold them back but the drive to just grab life by the horns is always present in this type of individual.
sagittarius moon people have a restless nature about them, it’s as if they are always wondering “what am i missing while i am stuck here?”, so there is a tendency to just get up and leave a situation and move towards something completely new and different. there is an urge to always move forward, always seek out that which they have not yet felt.
mercury in 5th house in synastry is a very inspiring placement, especially for the house person since it deals with creativity. mercury person is always supplying the house person with new ideas and they can take on the archetype of the muse, especially if the house person is creative. also, if the house person is very mercurial in nature then having someones mercury in their fifth house is really attractive to them, they can have a lot of fun by just talking about random stuff. typically there is a lot of kissing involved too if the relationship is romantic.
venus conjunct jupiter people are some of the most positive folks out there, they radiate this energy of warmth, passion and curiosity. they tend to value intelligence, they make friends easily as they are really prone to see the best in people and give their best to them. sometimes they run into the risk of being overly sweet and overly friendly to the point of it being sickly sweet. they are also really lucky, like really lucky. it all comes from their positive outlook on life, they know that life always had their back and that nothing is too good for them. they are seen as very attractive, especially if this conjunction is happening on the ascendant or the mc.
