Your Moon Placement can tell you a lot about your relationship with your mother. It's not really that your Moon Sign describes who your mother is inherently, it's more so how you yourself view your mother and your relationship with her.

Having Moon conjunct Pluto doesn't mean necessarily that your mother is a naturally controlling figure, it means that you found her to be quite controlling of you and your life. Or having a Pisces Moon in the 12th House doesn't mean your mother is a delusional figure, it might mean that you find her to be quite spacey and withdrawn at times.
