Ace and the Spades pirates are on some small island in the grandline and visit a shop run by a granny who collects bounties.Her bounty collection is very impressive as it is 100+ years old.It's due to the fact that her grandfather originally started it when he was younger that it's so old.
The spades pirate browse it full of curiosity while the old lady takes the chance to ask Ace for an autograph on his bounty. (Who wouldn't take the chance afterall?)
Suddenly one of the Spades shouts that they found an old bounty of Gold Roger. Ace stiffens while everyone runs to their crewmate to see. Only Deuce remains rooted next to Ace. He knew Roger was a sore subjects afterall.
Ace didn't want to see it. He wanted nothing to do with that man but fate had other plans bc the Spades run up to him and say "look captain you look a lot like the pirate king when he was younger don't you think?".
He hates how right they are because the man in the picture may not have freckles and much richer tan than Ace himself but he clearly still looks a lot like Ace.
Ace never cared much about looks but in this exact moment he loathed his appearance with his very being.
I really really find this idea curious to expand, bc maybe that’s will start for him to dye his hair, or keep his hair long, or trying even change his eyes by using coloured contacts.
Maybe he’s starting to feel uncomfortable in his own body, and that’s make him sick.
His crew, except Deuce who completely understand and will try to comfort his captain, can’t figure out the reason why Ace made changes, but still support him.
But now the Roger’s bounty chasing him in nightmares. somehow in his dreams he looks just like Roger, and all little Ace’s features went away. So when (in his dream) Luffy appeared, his brother called not by his name, but title “You’re King of the Pirates, Gond Roger!”, like eventually Ace completely disappears, leaving behind himself nothing but his father’s shade.
And then Ace awakes.

How was their first kiss? – Shuraiya decides to take the fall of faith and dives in for a kiss, it's a little forceful yet gentle and Deuce finds himself freezing in shock but he comes back to himself before Shuraiya can misinterpret his unresponsiveness and drags him for another kiss

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other- Portgas D Ace and Vinsmoke Ichiji (whoever with whoever is good)
My happily ever after for them- chilling together in homely peace (with Deuce writing to his heart's content and Shuraiya's -and Shuraiya's family's- support)
I had a couple other drawings but feel like these ones should stand on their own lol
I was trying my best to figure out some outfits for Ace and Deuce but honestly it was hard! A lot of current fashion trends give me the, “Is this actually stylish or does it only look good on skinny people?” sort of vibe. And in general, men’s fashion can be really boring. So I used K-pop boys as inspiration because their stylists aren’t afraid of going outside (western-lens’s) gender norms.
Someday I will figure out a cohesive idea on how the hell these three got together but for now, I’m gonna enjoy how they bring the best out of each other 😌💖
