Delilah has been transferred into the bigger and better funded Central City Zoo! Of course Danny's invited to come visit her, he's specifically one of the few people allowed to be in the same physical space as one of the worlds deadliest wild animals, specifically, the most violent and aggressive species of gorilla. All because Delilah, at some point, convinced herself that Danny is her baby and she pretty much refuses to hurt him in any way. She will groom him, and share her food with him, and sits him down to teach him her signs, and play very, very gently with her weak human baby, even though she insists, through sign, that he's very strong. The primatologists always lose their minds when Danny visits, as Delilah doesn't let any other human ape of any kind within five feet of her without a sedative. Depending on her mood, she might even try to keep Danny safe away from other humans. He's her baby, you see.

Unfortunately, the new World's Deadliest Gorilla exhibit attracts the attention of Grodd. The hyper-intelligent meta-gorilla wants to use the worlds deadliest gorilla to get vengeance on the Flash for ruining his world domination plans, and he doesn't really care if some human child gets hurt in the process. In fact, that'll probably hurt the Flash more.

Okay so hear me out

My brain took this lovely piece of violent crime incoming

And gave me a Freakzoid-worthy mini montage of Grodd making all of his plans and plots

Methods to communicate with Delilah to explain what he wants… methods to subdue her and just dump her into whatever trap he’s making for Flash if she’s not down for it

(She hates everyone he’s aware she might not be down but she is also so so smart and so so murderous imagine if she HELPED)

And he makes his plans, probably involving deliberately showing up when Danny’s around so he can threaten her baby if need be

And then! Action. The night comes. He breaks surveillance, makes his approach

Delilah beats the crap out of him even though he was holding Danny because actually no “stay where you are or I’ll kill him” did not go well

Flash can wait he needs to try and win this truly wonderful lady over imagine the destruction he could wreak with her at his side

Eventually Danny takes pity on him and agrees to help try and parent trap the two gorillas because Why Not and someone has to try and get close enough to persuade Delilah to let herself be artificially inseminated if they don’t wanna lose the species

(If Danny brings it up she thinks it’s very cute that he wants a baby sibling but silly boy you must grow big and strong first)

Flash doesn’t even need to be in the story I’m just saying

The GIW becomes public after Amity Park is found to be completely ecto contaminated and several agents defect. But the ones who have the biggest problem with the acts are the IRS due to several large cities counting as contaminated and thus the inhabitants being declared non sentient. So the IRS takes a risk and cuts a deal with a villain to take down the GIW. Of course for such a big tax break, the Joker accepts.

(AKA the IRS hires the Joker to take out the GIW to get more money)

Out of curiosity, are the Fentons being tax-evaders/IRS is afraid of them/something like that is canon or fanon?

Coz when one puts this IRS afraid of Fentons despite having gotten Joker of all ppl to remove GIW, it gets ironically hilarious?

Consider Joker (terrified of IRS) < IRS (terrified of Fentons but release them from GIW anyways coz there's literally a city of which money they can get aside from Fentons) < Fentons (afraid of literally nothing)

Would Joker think of the Fentons as literal demons for making the IRS afraid of them, when Joker found out about these whacky scientists (and wanna use them for nefarious purposes before finding out of the fact(?) above)?

Of which GIW has somehow captured the Joker due to him showing up in their radar. And Danny as Phantom, breaking into GIW thresholds to break out ghosts who were captured and/or experimented by them around Amity Park.

See, my brain insists that Amity Park is quite isolated in the US due to GIW interferences. So if Amity Park gets news of OMG METROPOLIS IS UNDER ATTACK, or GOTHAM IS HAVING DISASTER, they'd thought of those as fake.

So Phantom has absolutely no clue who Joker even is. He rescued the Very Weird ghost like he does the other ghosts.

And y'all get to continue it 😆

Alright this got me thinking. Realistically Joker probably plans to torture Danny to mentally break him like he did with Tim using electric therapy which... Definitely could get results. (And also be even more messed up if we play with the idea of Danny being hit by electricity forces him to remember his half death)

But even if Danny does somehow become a second Joker Jr and fights the Batfamily... Would he still resist? Like this isn't mind control but if we're going Protection Obsession route or just Danny being a hero at his literal Core, would he subconsciously hold himself back and actively be fighting his obsession which subsequently could be hurting?

If so... OH FUCK that opens a lot of possibilities, especially if it depends on if one of the Bats (most likely Cass or Bruce) noticing Danny struggling to actually hurt them, like he physically can't but he's trying his hardest or else Joker might make him suffer a little longer.

On a side note. I'm just suddenly imagining Joker accidentally dies of Ectoplasm poisoning long before he gets a chance to try anything with Danny because nobody realized until after the fact he wasn't a real ghost, just pinged as semi ghostly on their radar due to the chemicals he's doused himself in.

Just Danny and the ghosts see Joker's corpse and think "aww he's sleepy" and it takes them... Longer than they'd like to admit to realize the clown of Gotham is dead. Maybe it doesn't even register until they see Joker's ghost and reality hits Phantom like a massive tidal wave.

Everyone goes the super dark route for these but you know what would be funny? Joker trying to be a good dad(like the Harley Quinn show). He still does his schemes and stuff but less so. Hell what if we have him adopting Jazz as well? I think if Harley and Joker are still together at this point that she’d love being a mother to them, especially Jazz since she wants to be a Psychologist just like her. If the Anti Ecto Acts are still a thing maybe Danny joins in on “the family business” as some petty revenge against the government.

Honestly this could all lead to the first non toxic Joker and Harley relationship I’ve ever seen.

It's not that Joker's quitting crime exactly, but with a "son" like Phantom, you literally can't do the crime because of some whack or another if you bring him with you.

Danny donates to the local blood drive! In his defense he was pressured into it by his peers and parents, and wasn't able to steal back his blood before it was shipped out.

True to Fenton Luck, it ended up in the batch of emergency blood supply in the Justice League, which meant that it's paper trail was erased and by the time Tucker was able to even try to find it, it was long gone.

Cut to a few months later, and Superman gets into a huge fight.

It's bad.

He actually lost a fair amount of blood.

The reserves that they thought they had specifically for him were far lower than they anticipated.

Clark can probably survive with what they have, but ideally they'd have just one single pint more.

Out of desperation, they start testing all the blood they have in stock. Maybe, just maybe, they'd stored some extra in the wrong place and mislabeled it.

They didn't, but they do find a viable donor. It issn't Clark's DNA, but the blood is unmistakably Kryptonian by nature, and it is compatible with Clark.

Anyways, that's how Danny ends up opening the door to Pulitzer Winning Lois Lane, who wants to know if he's a secret alien.

Danny's response to being asked his origins: How would I know? My parents experiment with dimensional portals. I fell out of one as a baby. I wasn't a ghost, so they didn't investigate further. *teenage shrug of whatever*

Danny's who Clark would have been if he'd been raised by Mad Scientists and also half-killed.

Guess being a Midwesterner is literally Clark's destiny, no matter what universe he ends up in.
