This is so late, but thank you so very much! It was one of the hardest and most difficult things I’ve ever written. But I’m very pleased I did so. I’ve always loved novels from the point of view of animals so it felt cool to have done it. Also I love Tip (RIP).

Some days you type out an email and send it into the ether because you want someone to know how much their work means to you and how inspiring they’ve been at a time you’ve sort of needed it.
And then other days you get a response back and are absolutely floored because that same someone heard what you were saying and completely got it, and said some stuff you didn’t know you needed to hear.

I had to come back and agree with that last ask, your art for the Big Bang is so good! I spent a while reading and grinning at all the individual stories/headlines on the first newspaper - I especially loved the ones for Paddy and Megan respectively!
Aww thanks Vix! That’s very kind of you to do/say! I’m so proud of the Paddy one. It cracked me up a bit because it’s pretty much a headline I have seen on the NYTimes site, and then the Megan one was a joke about David’s storyline that year! (I tried to play to the show as much as I could!)

Honestly, I just wanted to bring Anna’s fic to life in as many ways as possible because not only was it such huge expansive fic with a really fun world, but she worked so hard on it and pushed herself to write so many amazing words. The least I could do was illustrate as many aspects of it as I could! (Also, it’s the Big Bang and I remember how thrilled I was with the art I received for mine last year, I just wanted to pay that gift forward since I’m not really a “traditional” artist.)

I just try and tell people how much I enjoy them and their hard work because we’re all out here just trying our best in all our creative endeavours. When things don’t go well, it can be such a bummer and hurt the soul, and I’m just trying my hardest to negate that.
But also, most people I talk to are actually quite interesting, and I enjoy hearing what people have to say, be it about fandom stuff or other things, because there’s so much I don’t know, and so much other people do? Life’s a really fun learning process like that.
