I like this version of Flynn sooooooo much!!
I ordered the Tangled artbook last year and I was really upset that there were not these pictures there (ﾉД`)
His name was Vince and hers was Claire (yes, after Claire Keane). That’s them in the modern world, in the bottom left corner. This was from “Rapunzel Unbraided,” when the concept was that Claire and Vince were pulled into a fairytale world and replaced the primary characters in Rapunzel. The concept was reworked (quite a bit, actually) and became the plot of “Enchanted”,

I can see Eugene playing the guitar or ukulele for some reason. Is it just me, or does anyone else agree? I feel like Eugene should have a hobby like an instrument or an art, just as something he picked up somewhere.

Hans chuckled as she could barely contain her excitement. She was so cute, though it halted when she mentioned, “Dye my hair?” A small scowl formed tighter on his lips. He couldn’t imagine what he would look like with different colored hair. “Why?”
Logically, he knew why, but he really didn’t want to. The less he had to change the better. Though this also meant that it would be a bit longer before he could be accepted into her family. “What color would even look good on me?”
She opened her mouth to say, ‘I don’t know, brown?’ but as soon as she thought it, she removed his sideburns and grew a goatee on him, and suddenly she knew it was the wrong color to choose. She closed her mouth so quickly her teeth snapped.
