2024 Game Clear #45 Puyo Puyo Tetris 2

Puyo Puyo Tetris is my "I need to not think about about anything at all" game, I like to put the game on endless swap battle mode and just play for as long as I can and the constant juggling of plates in that mode usually keeps my brain from thinking about anything thing else. and with how things have been going.... yeah....

But I hadn't played the story yet, it's fine. Well voice acted with alot of "I know that person" voice actors but it definitely just felt like the first game's story just re-heated, there are still fun moments like the pageant they hold near the end of the story but it never really hooked me like the first game story did (that could just because *gestures at the state of the world* though admittedly.

I also gotta note the game has a auto difficulty option that was unknownly turned on when I started playing where the more you win, the more difficult the ai becomes. I'm not the best Puyo Puyo but I can usually get by but, near the last quarter of the game the AI became so difficult and started doing 8 chains combos in first 10 seconds just leaving me baffled on how a non pro player was supposed to play through the story mode until I learned about the auto difficulty toggle.

It still Puyo Puyo Tetris so it's one of the best puzzle games money can buy! but I don't think anything in here really ever jumps out and screams "this is why we need to make a sequel right now!"

That said Sonic the Hedgehog is in here so never mind a sequel was justified!

2024 Game Clear #44 Sonic X Shadow Generations

We're so back yall, Shadow The Hedgehog (2005) was the first Sonic game I owned, so i have soft spot for that stupid game. So the fact that we basically got a sequel to it is kind of surreal. I do wish there was a clear Shadow (2005) Stage representation, I think that the Ark is suppose to be that because it's uses a Final Rush remix like the Ark does in that but y'know that's kind of cheating. I would've loved Lava Shelter, Black Comet, Digital Circuit, Gun Fortress, Glyphic Canyon- any of them really but other then that I repeat, We're So Back!

The levels that ARE there are so damn good man! I just think it's feels like it's missing just one more zone to round it out. Sonic Generations is here too and yeah it's still Sonic Generations, I wish the texture pop in was fixed here but it's still one of the best Sonic games, just a great package overall. I'm so excited for that movie level!
