As for how the idea for Darkpath came about, it sorta happened in the theater when I was watching the movie? The scene where Hiro removes the healthcare chip and Baymax goes nuts, basically. I thought it’d be super cool to take my own spin on that! Then I went to B1ue and we talked a lot about how things would pan out, and before we knew it we had a 10+ page document about nothing but worldbuilding. And now here we are, we’ve reached webcomic stage.

Basically, he survived the fire but got a rather nasty hit on the head that simultaneously put him in a coma for two years and knocked most of his memories out of him. He has retrograde amnesia. The reason he was gone for two years was mainly due to the coma (though it would more than likely be more like two and a half years if you want to be realistic because he'd need some physical therapy and some time to get situated also)

It's something that'll be explained in a bit more detail in one of the backstory comics I have planned.

Thank you so much!! And to answer your question, yes, Tadashi is paralyzed from the waist down in ArmordashiAU. It was the cost of him surviving the fire, so he either moves around in a wheelchair or walks using the leggings Hiro made for him (which are also built into his super suit)

I've actually got a huge backstory comic all planned out and I'm in the process of putting them all together (it'll be sectioned into parts, though) so you'll have the answers about Callaghan very soon! Just gotta... draw and color the pages... ahaha

About Abigail, I really have no ideas about that at the current point in time, though the thought has crossed my mind once or twice. I suppose we'll see if inspiration smacks me in the face at any random point, because so far I've literally got nothin' in regards to that one. (゜-゜)

More for the armordashi AU.

Hiro is practically inseparable from Tadashi after they finally get him home from the hospital, often times just lazing around on him in his wheelchair and letting Tadashi roll them both around, sleeping where he sleeps, etc. etc. It's rough for the both of them for a while, Tadashi mainly because he's paralyzed from the waist down now (also he nearly died) so he's trying to cope with that, and his mood takes a pretty harsh plummet because of it. Hiro, of course, realizes how depressed his brother is now due to that and starts to work on getting his legs functioning again.

Many sleepless nights later, Hiro fixes it. And then they both are happy again. ...Until Yokai shows up. ovo;;

A possible outcome of my armor!Tadashi AU where Hiro is the one that takes the fall instead of Tadashi, all because he wanted to be the one to protect him for once. It uh... lead to a pretty bad head injury (along with several broken bones and an injured torso), and... yeah. Yeah.

At least they stopped Yokai, at the possible cost of Tadashi's sanity m~~y next posts will be happier I PROMISE~~

I think about Tadashi in Baymax's armor a lot and the "what if" scenario of if he was the one there protecting Hiro instead, with his motivation to fight simply being "well my brother is attached to my back so I guess I have to, also our stuff got stolen so there's that too"

Protect Hiro at all costs, even if it means shoving him out of the way of a crumbling building and taking the fall yourself
