Woah look a double bonus update today because I haven’t posted anything BH6 in a while!
Top one was drawn really recently, bottom was actually done for my very first post on Patreon back in August. Idk, I just like seeing Hiro and Baymax roaming around who knows where and doing a bunch of random stuff with one another. It’s cute.

It’s a small, broken family. But with the three of us, I know we’ll get along just fine. We still have each other.
Wanting to draw younger Hamadas turned into drawing Tadashi heavily struggling after the loss of their parents, since he was old enough to deal with it. He and Cass had to carry the weight on their own for a good while, since Hiro was still too young to understand (and Tadashi just lied, saying “They’re just on vacation, they’ll be back someday”). He vowed to shoulder it for both he and Hiro, so the poor kid wouldn’t have to be troubled by it when he was young.
Turns out it was Hiro who ended up easing most of the pain though, huh.

Needed to practice drawing my boy again for the comic because would you believe I put this AU down for so long that I forgot how to draw his outfit? yeah. yeah that kinda happened. also a couple very subtle design changes, mainly to his satchel.
Also a bonus thing because Wasabi is a giant adorable kitten in this AU (and in general) protect at all costs (also in reference to that gogo and wasabi pic I drew months ago):
This was generally just a test comic page, testing the way I can set things up and do things and blahblah stuff like that. I posted a rough draft of it on my Twitter last night, but it got some fixing since then, so here’s this.
I guess I’ll just go ahead and drop the surprise now - I’m starting a Darkpath webcomic that will hopefully begin by the middle of this month, or the end of it. Hopefully by the 25th at latest? This page isn’t the beginning of the comic - it’s only a test, so this is how it’ll generally look appearance wise. Will this page actually happen in the comic eventually? Maybe. Dunno.
It’s also a small bit of fluff, even if Hiro is extremely uncertain and refusing to look at Tadashi, but hey. It’s fluff.

Couple things from Twitter. Did my own take on how Hiro looks at certain ages, and followed it up with a Sunfire!Tadashi hugging Hiro because it was a request I got several times in my inbox. So there’s that for you
Hugging Sunfire is incredibly dangerous, I wouldn’t recommend doing so when he’s currently on fire but Hiro is stubborn, clearly, and really isn’t afraid in the slightest even though his jacket is catching on fire
I haven’t done much art this week :C Been busy taking care of a few things. I have, however, put up a new 8tracks playlist for the hamabros. So I guess it counts? More sad/relaxing this time around.

I got a few prompt requests about what if Tadashi’s leg braces broke mid fight and the team + Hiro had to step in to defend him, so here this is. I haven’t done an armordashi comic in a while and I realLY WANTED TO DO ONE so the prompt requests were perfect. (For those who are new: In armordashi AU, Tadashi survived the fire but is paralyzed from the waist down, though Hiro built him some leg braces to help him walk again, and he then basically becomes a hero along with everyone else)
Maaaaaan I have so many feelings towards the team working together to keep the two nerd bros safe, even Hiro tries his hardest for Tadashi because he doesn’t wanna risk almost losing him again. Of course that’s not to say Tadashi can’t pull some Captain America with his shields, with or without his legs. He’s a tough cookie.

Hiro + Microbots
I’ve always liked the idea of Hiro just... morphing the microbots into different things in order to usually just play around. Punching things with claw microbot fists, making big microbot wings to look menacing/cool (since he can’t fly with them for multiple reasons, though boy, he’s tried), giant palm to lift things much heavier than he is (and confusing Wasabi because “Isn’t that over 50 pounds...?”), or just random other things.

Couple art things from my Twitter that I’ll toss over here too. Sunfire Tadashi and some Tadashi expressions because clearly this man is trying to take over my entire everything sendhelp
Also since some have asked and because I finally have a small layout of Sunfire’s story: He’s infused with fire/technological radiation as a result of the explosion mixing with some of the experiments/tech inside. After the fire, he was soon discover and taken away to a gov. facility for a while (3-4 years, actually), treated as a mutant/weapon, but eventually he manages to escape, though he definitely has trouble controlling his fire powers, even after all this time (the suit helps, it has some limiters, but he needs to keep it on to maintain full control). He’s technically a vigilante, goes around trying to help people (but accidentally sets stuff on fire in the process, whoops).
Sunfire is partially deaf, and ‘blind’ - he can’t see actual forms, but instead is able to read heat signatures and the make out shapes that way. (but it’s okay, he can warm his hands and just touch stuff to help him see better, or throw out fireballs which is highly dangerous though do not recommend). He also has cool eyes.

Mainly just for color practice but I was also feeling in a Darkpath mood so I kinda... combined the two... as usual. Also gave Fred a bit of love too. He needs more of that. even if he’s about to get a fiery fist to the gut but he’ll be fine his suit is fireproof
