I'm kind of scared to hope for it but I kind of wish that Once Upon a Time was taking a long road to getting Rumple and Regina together in the end. Just because I can see how the fairy tale trops of who belongs together kind of takes your choices away and you just are with someone because some outside force is telling you a certain person is right for you. I mean I'd be really sorry for Belle but I'd like Rumple and Regina to choose each other without having to satisfy the whole
soul mates, “you have to be with this person cause of pixie dust” thing. I kind of think Rumple only turned Regina into who she really is and anything she wasn’t she was able to shed under her own power. And this hope is probably what’s going to make me keep watching cause of those little moments in the show where you see they really care for each other.
I accidentally wrote an essay to explain why I don’t agree – on, uhm, anything.
I wish I could say, ‘I’m gonna clear up my position on the matter of this ship!’, but I can’t, nor do I really want to. The day I speak my definitive word on Regina/Rumpelstiltskin is the day I leave the fandom, feet first, killed by boredom.
