- Fates Headcanons!
- Kamui, Kana, and Azura’s feet are extremely calloused because these stupid children go barefoot. Upon their first visit to Izumo, Izana offered them a fish pedicure which they instantly took a liking of (because ahhh, finally such smooth skin!) and have one every time they visit.
- It takes both Xander and Ryouma at least half an hour every day and night to get into and out of their armour because of how complicated it is. Laslow quietly jokes why Xander would wear such a tedious thing.
- Despite appearances of the other children (thanks to different time flow in each deeprealm), Sophie is chronologically the eldest among the 2nd generation as Silas liked the idea of settling down early. Rhajat is chronologically the youngest.
- The dragon blood running through the royal families also partly gives each member a dragon’s extended lifespan. Although many royals have died young, its not unnatural for the royals to live up to ~150 years only dying of old age. Kana (and their sibling if any), and even more so Kamui, being direct decendants of a dragon, can live for thousands of years.
- All the royal siblings are right handed except for Camilla and Elise. Camilla is ambidextrous - she wields her axe with her right hand and casts spells with her left. Elise is a lefty.
- It is Nohrian custom that each King, Queen, Crown Prince, and Crown Princess have their own crown/circlet custom forged. Each one is uniquely designed to best suit the wearer and incorporates one special ore chosen by the wearer. For Garon - a ruby hanging down his forehead; Xander’s circlet has onyx infused within itself, and Camilla chose to hide two sapphires within her.. horns. The crown prince/princess can choose to retain their old crown or forge a new one after inheriting the throne (the former in the case of Xander, latter in the case of Garon).
- In the Birthright route when Leo inherits the throne and Forrest becomes crown prince, they both choose to infuse a topaz in their crowns.
- Seigbert’s crown is in the making after Xander inherits the throne - he chose to use a crystal.
- Forrest’s hair reaches to his hips once he undos those princess curls and Elise’s hair goes down past her knees if she lets loose her twin tails.
- Jakob gets the least sleep out of everyone at the Northern Fortress, having to take care of Corrin until he turns in for the night and needing to wake up extra early to set up the day’s preparations. He clocks an average of 4.5 hrs of sleep a night, hence why he hates mornings the most.
- Xander’s horse is named Sieghart. ([insp]

- Asugi reluctantly became Shiro’s retainer because Saizo obviously pressured him into it (he doesnt mind it though bc Shiro’s a bro and lets him eat all the candy he wants).
- Yukimura was completely appalled when he learned from Jakob that Nohrians add sugar to their tea bc “what no no no you dont add sugar to tea! what is this blasphemy?! tea is meant to be drank naturally!” [insp by my first time drinking “western tea” bc chinese people dont add sugar to tea]
- Elise’s sugar tolerance is really really high, only second to Asugi’s. She can have 5 sugar cubes in her tea and still be perfectly okay with it. Leo just watches in disgust and amazement every time they have tea together, as she plops one sugar cube in after another.
