I'm so obsessed with how endlessly fond Peter is of Neal. I'm still in season 1, and I'm currently watching episode 7(free fall) and when Neal jumps through the window and lands right in front of Peter and shrugs and runs off.. Peter smiles at him! I love how Peter likes him so much even though he thinks Neal finally broke the good guy act and stole the diamond in this episode's case.
he's so so fond of him!!!! no matter how many times Neal breaks his trust (or Peter thinks he breaks his trust), he still truly adores him. it makes me insane. like no matter how you read their relationship (father/son, brothers, romantic), they really love each other so much and would go to the ends of the worlds for each other, even when!! they don't trust each other! even when they suspect each other of awful things, they can't help but love and want the best for each other. it makes me so emotional
