yo uh, it's me, your anon that asked you to tag queer. happy to announce ive done a lot of research and stopped drinking the exclusionist juice. and i just wanted to apologize for hopping into your inbox last time. being queer is actually extremely good and i understand now that asking someone to tag a part of their identity is kinda fucked up. have an excellent day!
redemption arc of the century lads. I’m glad you were able to reflect on yourself - it’s not ever easy to admit you were wrong about anything and it’s a really admirable trait in my opinion.
Hi anon!
Just want to second the kudos. Growing and learning is—or at least should be—part of your life until you die, but it takes a lot of maturity to say so.
Welcome to the big weird squishy family 😃 and never forget “yeah I am, what’s your point?” is a great defense against “queer means WEIRD”.
I know it’s kind of dumb but it makes me really happy when this gets like a positive note because like. sometimes we are unwelcoming and don’t offer incentives towards personal growth as a society but sometimes we aren’t and it’s really reassuring.
“The queer kids, whether they’re gay or straight, have to stick together.” -- Tim Miller
“We must all hang together, or we shall surely hang separately.” -- Benjamin Franklin
I am super supportive of people realizing that the juice they've been drinking is actually harmful, and doing some thinking and research and discovering they were wrong, and becoming a better person for it.
KUDOS TO YOU, ANON, FOR LEARNING AND GROWING. I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST!
