Rhodey was just a freshman, but he was 110% sure that the scrawny dude with floppy hair in the corner did not belong at the frat party his ROTC cohorts had invited him too. He’s always been a sucker for brown eyes, and ends up saving the kid’s ass after he destroys everyone at beer pong and almost starts a riot. Just his luck that the bud-soaked minor happens to be Tony freaking Stark.
