Happy double d-day @bonkalore and @nmzuka !

I had the ideas for these a while ago, but wasn't able to get them finished... finally, they are done! First is a re-draw of a scene from Gargoyles, now featuring Jayce and Lucy for Bonka (I tried combining stuff from the actual Gargoyles look and Bonka's designs for different versions of Jayce. Lucy looks pretty good in Elisa's outfit too~). Next are some little Pikmin... but wait, they look different? Sort of like a ribbon and a snake~ (Ribbon was pretty easy, but Cobra was tricky; he's supposed to have like. a leaf that folds down to cover his head? and it looks like a snake next to the leaf on his neck? frightens predators or whatever)

Haha no it's n-

wait what the fuck

Gargoyles are specifically waterspouts. If it doesn't redirect rainwater, if it's just decorative, then it's called a grotesque, which doesn't mean disgusting, it means "cave like," same etymology as the word grotto.

(I remember watching the animated Halloween Tree movie, in which a group of kids basically travel through time and different areas to try and save their friend, and each destination is themed on their Halloween costumes, and the friend they are chasing after usually gets trapped in a way that matches the theme too; one kid is dressed as a gargoyle, and so the wind up at Notre Dame, where their friend has been turned to stone, becoming a gargoyle. It is specifically explained that he can only speak like this when the rain runs into his mouth, or the wind blows through his teeth- his voice coming out GARBLED, as if he's GARGLING, because he's a GARGOYLE)
