people talk about malfina/connecticut clark as if it’s a brand new dynamic. as if these two haven’t been here since 1988. we’ve forgotten our history, our odd couple roots
They all make friends one day but internally Roger has a whole emotional crisis over how much manlier and more impressive he thinks Clark is

What she says: I'm fine.
What she means: Clark asks Malfina the Demon Witch to make him the 3rd happiest man in Connecticut and agree to marry him. Who are these two happier men? What man, let alone men, could have more happiness than a man (who, let's be honest, is a solid 4) that has the joy and privilege to marry a hot demon giantess with a heart of gold that could vaporize all detractors?
I have been to Connecticut. Euphoria is in short supply there, so suspending disbelief for this narrative is a struggle.

My mom was having me help her navigate some shopping website (because if I don’t she’ll buy what she THINKS is a small handbag, but it turns out to be a HUGE thing a person could ride around in), and we found this image of a woman that had been clearly and BADLY edited; they made her smile bigger (and you could see her mouth like... over-lapping the smile-lines on her skin where the mouth originally had been), they tried to add more “volume” to her hair (they like... cut-out her bangs, copy-pasted them, and enlarged them to be bigger over her REAL bangs, and it looked awkward), but the funniest thing was they had wanted to make her eyebrows look more “sculpted”... which evidently mean erasing the real ones and digitally drawing new ones at an exaggerated angle... so they had to stretch out her forehead. I said “Woah, check out Miss Tall-Head Connecticut here”, and my mom laughed (she doesn’t get the reference, but you don’t need to. BTW, I’m pretty sure these edits were done in like, MS Paint... I say this as somebody who only has MS Paint to work with. I know that nonsense when I see it)
