Yes exactly!! I'm playing sonic cd atm and it reminded me that I really want a time travel movie. there's more time travel storylines than cd but that'd require too much exposition and too many new characters to introduce at once and there are rumours that metal sonic is gonna be introduced in sonic 2 👀👀

I just wouldn't hope they'd do the whole cd story, that'd be a bit much. I hope they'd use the time travel a bit more like bttf etc so it's more interesting to watch and incorporating the human characters and not just very cgi heavy worlds with only cgi characters. so keep the basic story with the time stones and metal sonic but not necessarily little planet and let them travel to more than one point in the past and future.

god I hope sonic 3 has time travel

#sonic#sonic the hedgehog#just thinking about it makes me vibrate#imagine them exploring green hill through different ages bttf-style#god that's be awesome#sonic movie#I want them to go to green hill during the wild west and meet tom's great-great grandfather#who wanted to become a sheriff but just wasn't any good at it#until they help him so there's been a wachowski guarding green hill for over a 100 years instead of 50#I will bring this thought back once they confirm the time travel just wait
