i love solas and lavellan in the fade together, but i'd like them to visit what remains of her clan after veilguard. solas might face some scrutiny, certainly, but i think over time they'd come to love him as lavellan does. he is hers, and she is theirs, and they will learn to see what she sees- the wise spirit, the soft heart, the gentle soul.
and solas would know better, in the end, than to judge them so harshly. the way they love her makes him feel light, lets him see her from a new angle- as she once was, removed from politics and war. he understands it now, the fondness he could never convince her to shake, the warmth that helped shape her into the person he loves most.
love and kindness are not requisites for atonement, but they encourage it. and i think he would work on that very seriously, the efforts of loving and being loved. between their attempts at resolving the blight and making amends and protecting the innocent, i imagine them visiting and being welcomed as family- a daughter they lost for nearly a decade and a prodigal son who has found his way home.
