I don’t think Solas and Lavellan are trapped in the Fade prison, actually. During the final battle Solas tells Rook that the prison is built of regrets and that he had to mold them into someone the prison would accept in his place in order to escape. Rook gets out because they overcome their regrets with the companions’ help, especially those they feel they wronged. A redeemed Solas is likely not without regrets by the end of Veilguard, but they’re certainly alleviated. And a romanced Solas with Lavellan beside him? They go together, by choice. I don’t think the prison will hold them.

do we think lavellan got a far-off glimpse of solas in minrathous? did she see a familiar shape in the chaos and let her focus drop for a moment? did it make her breath catch in a way that had nothing to do with the effort of battle? was she worried for him then, on top of a decade's worth of worries, was she nostalgic, was she in love, was she afraid? did she witness the power of fen'harel, or the grace of her solas? and did he see her from that same distance? did he shield her from afar? did he use all his strength to protect her, did he wish she had not come? did he think it was a test, of his restraint, of his regret? did he falter, again, at the sight before turning away?
