alright so Lizzo came out with her new single this valentine’s day, Cuz I Love You, and i have a LOT of feelings about it in regards to david & patrick, from davids perspective. in my opinion the whole entire song exemplifies how patrick takes down davids emotion-aversion/stone cold exterior one tender act of romance at a time, but there’s a particular part that really strikes a chord in my david-lovin ass heart:

“I thought that I didn’t care
I thought I was love-impaired

I don’t know what I’m gon’ do
I’m cryin’ ‘cause I love you”

i mean are you serious??? this is IT!! davids obviously never been this in love before and he’s cryin!!! cuz he loves patrick!!!

someone take these feelings away from me.

anyways thank you to our lord and savior lizzo for providing the best vocals in human history and thank you to dan levy for writing these soppy-sweet characters that broke into my heart and refuse to leave
