You know what Trump's strategy is? It's nothing because he doesn't have one. He has never been and will never be a strategic thinker. He is all ego. You have to remember that every moment in his life is about satisfying the needs of his ego. When it looks like strategy, it is sometimes, possibly, other people around him strategizing and convincing him (perhaps momentarily) to go along with it.
