Quincunxes (aka inconjuncts) are blessings in disguise really. They take two parts (planets, signs, modalities) and make it blend—it calls for hard work, constant adjustment and effort. However, in the end it leaves behind something that's unique to the individual. As with any aspect, it has good sides—the uniqueness, eagerness, hope if it all. However, it has a tendency to a) crash and burn, or b) create something entirely new, different and amazing. There is a searching and probing feel to the energy, somewhat restless due to a constant need for adjustment and refinement.

Either side of the aspect is needed of course. In your case, it definitely causes confusion surrounding your career choices. Deception/scandals surrounding your public image may be common. You're likely to be very creative and imaginative but may spend too much time daydreaming about career options rather than actually going out and doing it. This may sound weird but it's a part of your chart, quintiles are generally considered minor aspects (though they can act as major ones depending on the rest of the chart, they are particularly powerful in charts with yod formations). Thus it is a part of you and your destiny, other aspects and planets are likely balancing this out but it is still an influence that will aid and obstruct you as most aspects will.

Yes that'd be quite accurate. Our rising sign rules our impression/how we come across, as well as our actions and vibe. In relation, the first house is always the house of the ascendant (different word for rising sign). The 10th house is the house of public image and reputation, as well as our career, ambitions and vitality. Which is why it shows what we project (or want to project) professionally. Any aspects to the first house, MC or 10th house planets and the AC tells us more about this impression as well :)

The energy tends to be heavy, sex tends to have dominating themes. A tendency to go towards the authority-submissive nature. The energy can be very sexual, although it feels cold and distant at the same time. Opening up can take a while with this position, and Lilith may be drawn to the house person because of their career. Lilith is rebellious, the house person is stable. This can cause power struggles, in and out the bedroom. Respect is key here.

The MC represents success, fame, the career, vitality. There are very mentorship-like aspects. The planet person will teach the MC person about the themes of those planets, and in turn the MC person will feel revitalized.

It depends on what planet you're talking about but in general I'd say your traits are very beneficial to your career. Uranus conj the MC could mean a sudden career change, or multiple jobs, unconventional work, etc. The Sun conj the MC however, would reiterate confidence and a leader function in the work life.
