I'll reblog anything and everything from whatever fandom I'm in this week. Probably will do a meta or thirty, some shitty fanarts here and there. I like TMA/TmagP, TLT, AFTG, Dune, asoiaf, but I might add new things or not blog about something for a while. I also make some OC content when the inspiration strikes. Honestly, see the vibe: if you don't like it leave.

Also: I'm not an artist, I just draw as a hobby so while I might make fanarts from time to time don't expect this to be an art account.

Free Palestine, fuck McDonald's. If you're an asshole, incel, racist, LGBT+phobe, ableist, nazi piece of shit: I'll make you leave myself (blocked).

I'm not a minor and I can't promise zero nsfw reblogs, so be responsible for yourself.

Peace out.

what I wish people would understand about fundraising for gaza is that while everyone is desperate and I would never say not to fundraise for or donate to individual families-- I currently fundraise to support multiple friends' families-- the overwhelming narrative I see on Tumblr that the best and most ethical thing you can do is send money to individuals and there is no option for anything else is so so incredibly damaging and inadvertently lends support to the marginalization and distrust of any remaining communal social infrastructure. the sameer project, which you should donate to, talks about this in a recent video they put out. the situation in gaza is unimaginable and everyone is in need of a huge level of support, and yet this fundraising discourse by well-meaning people in the west that donating money to individuals is the only moral way reproduces societal divides wherein resources are directed to people who speak English, who have relationships with people outside of gaza, and who have internet access while hundreds of thousands are left behind.

there ARE non-ngo locally based grassroots initiatives working to meet those needs however they can, and your small donation goes a lot further with them because they are able to buy food/water/supplies in bulk at a reduced price and reach more people with less money. again I'm not saying people shouldn't fundraise for individuals because these initiatives are so limited and many people cannot access them -- but as an example, the group I fundraise with is currently serving people fleeing north gaza who are starving and have nothing, and when we fundraise enough to do cash aid distribution there's so much need that our partners can only distribute 100-200 per large family. and then I go online and see people who have absolutely no understanding of this context at all exclusively working towards raising tens of thousands for just a few people when evacuations haven't been possible for months. it's good to do whatever you can but please consider how this narrative being reproduced among westerners trying to help that there are no other options has the potential to damage groups working towards equity and wider reach however is still possible

it's the year 2027. tom hardy uploads venom 4 which he filmed on his iphone, venom is just a piece of cardboard because the 100$ budget ran out and the entire movie is set in his backyard. we finally get a kiss scene during the reunion of eddie and venom before he fights a drawing of tom holland's spiderman. it makes 5 billion dollars in two days

billie joe armstrong is like…the definition of chaotic good. a prime example of this is the fact that one time at a green day concert this guy in the pit was harassing a young girl so billie stopped the show to help her. however, his way of doing so was to jump into the audience, dropkick the guy directly in the face, and then fight him in a crowd of screaming fans

This is missing the best part - when he saw the guy, he tried to be like “Dude, stop” and when the man didn’t stop pushing the girl around he screamed “Fine! You wanna fight? I’ll fucking fight you, then!” and leapt directly into the crowd

There’s a reason Green Day was my favourite band in high school, and Billie Joe Armstrong is it.

So like in a Daemon au do you think Jason's Daemon would be resurrected with him or do you think you can tell if someone has been resurrected by their lack of Daemon

Ooooh I love this okay so my take is:

Daemon comes back fucked up (like, bearing the visible scars of the human's trauma/way of death) + for a long time Jason thinks he has been abandoned even by his daemon since it's nowhere in sight (and he knows daemon come back with their person because of Superman's death) but actually it's like the witches, since to cross the river of death or whatever you have to distend the bond (from what I remember) like the witches so the daemon is capable of being away from him, and it respawns in Ethiopia where Jason died and spends years looking for him making its way back to him+ his daemon wasn't stabilized when he died (late puberty) so when they finally meet again Jason is in for a big surprise !

I want Duke to be drawn with hair.

Duke deserves hair, he deserves to not be bald. Nothing against his buzz he looks great with it, but he just deserves to have curly hair that gets caught on every and all zippers, to be found on the couch in the manor, to be found in the microwave.

He needs to have long hair that can be styled by the girls, that he complains about washing on wash days.

I wanna see him with cool hair styles in different comics, I know some comics have him with cool styles.

Here are two examples of him with different styled hair.

I wanna see him drawn with beads in his hair, with dreads, or just completely covering his face.

He's got curly hair, I wanna see it styled in so many different ways.

Every time I've visited another country (I'm a country boy from Texas), and I've shown a genuine interest and curiosity about their culture, 99 time out of 100 the folks there get excited and love sharing their world with me. Honestly, it's the only way to travel. I've had so much fun traveling and meeting new people. It's the best way to destroy stereotypes and build bridges.

hello charlie! i dont know if this is a weird ask, but this is a question about a certain fanon tim drake misconception and i was wondering if you know its origin. people sometimes characterize him as 'morally grey', when i am 98% sure that in canon, it was very pointed out that he has a strong moral compass. like, an notorious example i can remember is in yj98 (#3, i think): when red tornado adresses to tim as 'super ego', being the most 'ethic' one out of kon & bart. i think im rambling over here, but i wanna hear your say on this LOL

Avatar

ASK AWAY I LOVE TO RAMBLE 'morally grey' tim drake is pure fanon based on either mischaracterization of red robin tim drake or people's unbridled desire to have him and jason bond over hating bruce or whatever else. i made like a giant thinkpiece for oomf about a personal hc on how tims nightmares affected his moral compass but absolutely, tim is PURE super ego. given the trolley problem, tim would probably throw himself on those rails to die. he has proven it many times.

in robin #4-5, given the choice of putting steph in danger by letting her confront her father or killing arthur brown, he chose option 3: throw himself in the truck, which ended up with him nearly suffocating to death. what i personally find interesting of this is less his actions per sè and more his thoughts; every second a thought about ‘doubling air supply’ comes to his head, he punishes himself for it. he is only afraid of 'disappointing bruce', finding himself in a situation where he even had to choose 'who to save'.

in one of my favorite stories, 'batman: contagion', tim would rather die than let is father know he was dying. he wanted to avoid giving his father thta heartache and make sure that batman and robin's identity were safe so he preferred wallowing in his pain instead.

in the titans of tomorrow storyline, he didnt hesitate to put a gun to his head and nearly pull the trigger and it has to be noted that the only reason why he failed to take his own life was external factors. if it meant saving others, he was willing to let himself die.

finally (because i have too many examples LOL) a lonely place of living. too good. between letting the kanes become the target of the bombs or letting people perish, he chose the final option: redirect all explosives towards himself and let himself die.

tim counteracts hedonism, he is a pure self harming machine and most importantly, he is a masochist and a hypocrite. in his fantasies, he wishes for an easy life yet does everything in his power not to achieve that. he dates ariana, a girl whos life (as troubled as any gothamite’s can be) is fairly uncomplicated, overly accepting of his committment behaviors yet cheats on her with steph, someones whos life is an absolute mess and does nothing but make it even more complicated by being a vigilante and choosing to be involved in the vigilante life.

he says he wants to eventually quit robin and have an easy life yet, when offered the chance of actually quitting, he is trembling in his boots and afraid of a life without being robin. he comes back to bruce all the times, no matter how many times bruce disappoints him and manipulates him. he needs that complicated life, he needs to be a part of that change. he needs that pain.
