Bardibranch
Despite being named after nudibranchs, bardibranchs are a mainly terrestrial species.
Their greatest attribute is their oddly lovely voice. A choir of bardibranchs would be a beautiful thing.
Bardibranchs also come in various sizes and subspecies, with there always being one subspecies per region.
The most notable subspecies of the Langtree Bardibranch is the tiny Aquatic Bardibranch native to the seas, and the large and sleepy Arctic Bardibranch that inhabits Chismest.
Bardibranchs are herbivores.
However, bardibranchs can develop what's known as "Chroma Disease" or "Bardibranch Chromavirus", where they lose all their color, and the disease greatly increases their mortality.
Scientists are researching a cure to preserve the bardibranchs.
Beeriam
Beeriams are rather peculiar for bees, as their stingers are on their face, rather than their bottoms.
Stinging still kills them, but they'd rather attack intruders with their own mysterious magic.
Beeriams are very territorial, but if you save a single beeriam's life, then the entire hive will be at your debt.
Clawdrey
Clawdreys are reptilian in origin, and very feisty.
They're best known for fighting creatures larger than it, and winning. This includes, but is not limited to; bears, crocodiles, and trolls.
Clawdrey wrestling is also a popular sport.

Kiwi
Status: Uninfected Infection: 0/100 Health: 74/100 Sanity: 65/100 Fear: 77/100 Hunger: 60/100
Kiwi is still their happy lil self! …Sorta. After the infection started, their happiness started to take a nosedive. Now they're more skittish, anxious, and easily startled. At least Miriam is there to ground them.
Miriam
Status: Uninfected (was infected before) Infection: 0/100 Health: 69/100 Sanity: 67/100 Fear: 57/100 Hunger: 40/100
Miriam has definitely become more irritable, that's for sure, though, she treats Kiwi better than anyone else. It's a bond that's hard to break. Along with that, she used to be infected, but Nina was able to safely remove her arm somehow.
Ash
Status: Uninfected Infection: 0/100 Health: 96/100 Sanity: 70/100 Fear: 82/100 Hunger: 22/100
Ash is definitely scared for their life, but they're also probably the most helpful when it comes to thinking things rationally. Not even Miriam is good at that anymore, so there's gotta be some anchor around here. Other than that, there's not much to talk about with them.
Nina
Status: Uninfected Infection: 0/100 Health: 78/100 Sanity: 48/100 Fear: 31/100 Hunger: 47/100
Nina's holding onto whatever sanity she has left, but she hasn't completely lost it. She often has cut-ins where she says random things, but she's still semi-comprehensible. She also shows quite a bit of frustration whenever she's interrupted by herself, and she emphasizes certain words to get her point across.
Audrey
Status: Infected (Stage 5) Infection: 100/100 Health: 37/100 Sanity: 0/100 Fear: 2/100 Hunger: 6/100
Audrey is patient zero for the Earworm. She takes the form of a goopy, deformed entity, who is always smiling. Kiwi and the others have made sure to steer clear away from Audrey at all times, and whenever they do encounter her, they run away as FAST as possible.
THE STAGES OF THE INFECTION
Stage 0: Nothing!
Stage 0 is for when they JUST got the Earworm. The infection starts out very slow, but ramps up as the days go by. Stage 0 lasts 2 weeks.
Stage 1: Denial
Stage 1 is when the infected individual gets quite a bit jumpy and anxious. The infected part seems to look a bit like a bruise, but with the veins around the bruise looking like strange purple vines. Other than that, there isn't much to talk about with this stage. Stage 1 lasts 5 days.
Stage 2: Anger
Stage 2 is when the infected individual's emotions go nuts, and they start to become more anxious and aggressive. They might even attack on-sight. Their physical form has also started to slightly distort as well. Stage 2 lasts 4 days.
Stage 3: Bargaining
Stage 3 is when the infected individual starts acting like a zombie, only wishing to infect those around them. Their form distorts even more, to the point of looking like some kind of monster. It only gets worse from here. Stage 3 lasts 3 days.
Stage 4: Depression
Stage 4 seems to be a stage where the infected individual is rather inactive and lazy. However, their skin infects on contact, so you should probably watch out when dealing with an individual on Stage 4. Their form as also distorted even more. Stage 4 actually lasts longer than most stages, at 5 weeks.
Stage 5: Acceptance
Stage 5 "ascends" the infected individual. They regain their ability to speak, if only to act like they're a god. They also gain strange eldritch powers that people cannot comprehend, and their form has become way more eldritch as well. This is the final stage.

UPDATED INFO ABOUT THE MOON AND SUN FAIRIES. AND ALSO THE SUN CASTLE IN GENERAL
so you know how in canon Wandersong, the Sun palace just turns into Silent Hill? well, it's also a stealth mission, so I wanna... do something funny with the Cosmicsong Sun palace.
- The Moon Fairy is now a nerdy lil ringtail with a bit of a nervous streak. Kinda like Otacon from Metal Gear Solid. his codename is "Luna"
- The Queen of Moon is now a ringtail as well.
- The Sun Fairy is. get this. a snake with a bandanna and a raspy voice. heheheh reference reference reference. she still goes by she/her pronouns, though. cuz the fairies are always the opposite gender to their respective Overseer. her codename is "Sol"
- The King of Sun is now a snake as well.
- The sneaking mission in the Sun Castle is now a whole-ass Metal Gear Solid reference, complete with Codec calls from Miriam. while Concord and Luna are sneaking around, Miriam is getting rid of obstacles in their path via Concord telling her the answers to the security questions. the horror was fun but I just thought a giant mgs reference was funny. and the reason WHY Codec calls can be done is because. Concord got a phone, with access to the Exonet. hoo boy I can't wait to explain the Exonet

Why was Concord exiled from Geolius?
And if they were exiled, then how did they come back during chapter 4?
Well, it's the fact that when they were of age to become a bounty hunter, they weren't enlisted, so they got exiled. However, Daiman-37 is a MUCH better planet for a Vaalroc to live on than Geolius, due to it being a lot more humid.
And for your second question… being exiled doesn't mean that you can never go back to that planet. It just means that you're not a denizen of it anymore. You're more… of a tourist, if that makes sense. So Concord can come back to Geolius, but it's more like a vacation thing than anything.

Cosmicsong
The Bard's canon name in this AU is Concord! (…like concord grapes), and their species is now what's known as a Vaalroc, which are basically amphibian creatures that can breathe both air and water. but I would not recommend singing with gills! they used to live on a very humid planet, but then that planet became uninhabitable, so they migrated to a planet called Geolius.

the AU also has slight tweaks to the characters' personalities.
one of the exceptions to this rule is Miriam (new surname Ootkins), though her species has still changed. she's now what's known as a Tippit, which are basically humanoid avian raptors with magic coursing inside them. they travel across the galaxy with jetpacks.
male Tippits are much more skittish than their female counterparts, which is also a major factor as to why there's not a lot of them on the streets of Mohabumi as there are females. female Tippits are much braver and hands-on, ready to take on any challenge. they can also get very protective of people they're close to, including their mates or young. this is instinctual.
Audrey is now known as DZN: 001: Tick, and remember when I said that there were slight tweaks to the characters' personalities? well, I give Audrey/Tick a complete 180 and make her a robot, and slightly more emotionless than she was in Wandersong prior. but she's also a bit more sympathetic as well, because of two main things.
- the Archive Seven project, which instead of killing the Overseers, she absorbs their essence and puts them in a stasis in her CPU. one big error of this, however, is that it will still destroy the galaxy.
- she wants to stop, but her programming won't let her. no matter how many times she tries to stop, or cries that she wants to stop, her programming spits on that and just makes her continue the Archive Seven project against her will.
Langtree has been replaced by Daiman-37, a planet that holds life surprisingly well, though only through the powerplant that gives the planet its oxygen, atmosphere, and ecosystem.
Delphi has been replaced with Zarille, a lush planet with beautiful periwinkle trees and mysterious caves.
The Lady Arabica keeps its name, but it's now a spaceship that travels to different space stations, most of which hold life surprisingly well. one of these space stations is Selaina, which replaces Tatango.
Chismest has been replaced with Geolius, a sandy wasteland with few towns, but a pretty sizeable city. Concord used to live in said city until they were exiled.
Rulle and Chaandesh have been replaced with Yanser and Veluminne.
- The Avivels (basically humanoid kites) of Yanser have animal-like companions called Qin (yeah I'm keeping the name what of it). there are quite a few Qin in Xiatian.
- The Tippits of Veluminne use magic for a majority of their technology. along with that, it's more often than not the female Tippits that are out there in the city of Mohabumi, as male Tippits are usually the caretakers of the Tippit species, so they more often than not stay at home.
Mt. Ichor has been replaced by the Void Canyon. a deep-ass canyon that the King of Hearts has been lurking inside.
also, the Overseers have been completely done a new one as well
- the King of Dreams is now a sheep that refuses to spend his time giving his piece of the Exosong to this bard that desperately wants to save the galaxy, and would rather read his book.
- the Dream Fairy is a lamb that's always ready for the worst-case scenario, which is why she latches onto Concord's face, making them unable to see.
- the Queen of Winds is now a quetzal who's oh so very desperately trying to stay with the times, but is failing miserably. somehow she's more girlfailure than the canon Queen of Winds.
- the Wind Fairy is a mobster-like pigeon. yeah. Concord asks where the Overseer is and he's like "Fuggedaboutit!"
- The Queen of Chaos is not instantly killed this time around! and she's a mantis shrimp! she talks in only one to three words a sentence, mostly because she's a tad paranoid. but after like, a few sentences between her and Concord, she's "killed" by Tick.
- The Chaos Fairy is a shrimp that's also a KEYGEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- The Queen of Order is a robot now! cuz I think it's fun and works for Cosmicsong. She follows the Three Laws of Robotics to a tee, to keep order, something that Tick mostly doesn't do.
- The Order Fairy is also a robot, and before Concord is able to see Lady Order, he gives them a questionnaire with silly questions like "How do you take your tea?" and "What is the last thing you ate?"
- The Queen of Moon is a sugar glider that Tick absorbs. the first time you see her, she's corrupted.
- The Moon Fairy is a semi-mute sugar glider. think Silent Bob. the first time he speaks, he yells out "SOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" because he heard his bestie's voice.
- The King of Sun is a crocodile that Tick absorbs. the first time you see him, he's corrupted.
- The Sun Fairy is a small crocodile that is the snarky Jay to Luna's Silent Bob. she's funny.
- The King of Hearts is now a capybara, and Concord and Tick have a begrudging agreement that even if Tick hurts Lord Hearts, Concord can still help him with their singing. …However, Tick's programming has something else in mind…
- The Heart Fairy is a chill-as-fuck capybara that… sorta mixes the vibes of a hopeless romantic with a stoner? but just a stoner's vibes, none of the drug stuff. she's chill.
I'll talk more about this AU some other time
this may turn into a HUUUUUUUGE essay but I kinda don't like people infantilizing the Bard/Kiwi.
Kiwi isn't the best example of nice characters being mischaracterized in fandom, because Wandersong is sorta niche, but it's still something I wanna get off my chest.
